agreed ted's so cute not wanting to leave becoz of rachel, but the reaction was weird, coz i culd never imagine Ted in real life doin that....even tho this isnt real life.......anyways lol a girls day in and the bridge to terabithia....that made me cry-twice

Chapter 31

Carry On

“put your arms around me, what you feel is what you are, what you are is beautiful” as I slid off to sleep to the sound of the Goo Goo Doll’s I swear I would feel vibration around my arm. Weird I know, but there was something……my phone. At 2 in the morning there would only be two people calling me…..Lilly or Teddy, and im guessing this time it would be Teddy.

“hello” I answered groggily

“hey” he said distantly into the phone. He sounded like he had been up all night.

“so what’s so important that you wake me up in the middle of the morning” I said harsher then I meant to

“im sorry for waking you, and I rang you to apologise for the way I acted this afternoon” he said in an apologetic tone

“its ok I guess, I mean I wasn’t dreaming about anything important” I said trying to make up for the harsh tone before as he let out a small laugh, actually it was more of a big breath

“and the way I acted this arvo???” he said in a questioning tone

“ow….I guess I forgive you as well……even tho I don’t know why you acted that way” I said as he let out a relieved sigh and I sat up and leaned on the backboard of my bed to get comfy.

“yea to tell you the truth I don’t know why either…..I just…you know how I am, I don’t like showing people my music, I don’t like performing in front of a lot of people, and now I like have to audition meaning I have to sing in front of people, and what about Rachel…I just I got scared” he said all in one breath

“so are you going to go” I asked with curiosity

“I don’t know” he blankly stated as there was a short pause. “what do you think I should do??” he asked looking for some type of guidance

“Teddy, its not really my decision…but if I were in you position I would go. Just think of all the opportunities that could come out of this babe. You’ve always wanted to be a recording artist and have you music out there and recognised….this way you can get yourself out there, and you never know you may meet someone who could open a lot of doors for you” I said as he took it all in. There was a short silence,

“your right….but im scared” he said just above a whisper

“of what Teddy, being yourself……….. This is you, this is you playing your guitar, singing your songs being yourself the only difference is that you will be being yourself in front of more people” I said

“its sounds easy when you say it like that, but im not as confident as you Cindy. Even tho im just being myself, its hard for me to do that in front of a crap load of people” he said as I realized I was fully awake now

“I know its hard babe, I know….but there’s one thing that I have that you don’t have…..and that’s faith in you, I believe that you can do this, and I know you will be able to do this” I said as Teddy sighed

“Teddy you have to believe in yourself, believe that you can do this, because if you can do that, you can go in front of those judges and you can audition for that part, and if you set your mind to it then you could get that part babe” I said as there was yet again another silence, this one longer than all the other.

“thankyou for making me see sense” Teddy said after what seemed like forever

“so does this mean you will go???” I questioned with a hint of excitement
“ yes....no,…well im thinking about it” he said as I could hear excitement in his voice

“crap mum’s coming, ill call you tomorrow babe….love you” he said in a hurried whisper

“ok, night babe, love you to” I said as we hung up and I laid back down in bed. Was Teddy seriously going to go???


-Carry On-

“push harder” I said as Teddy pushed down on his suitcase as I tried to zip it up.

“I am” he as he jumped onto it

“how much stuff did you friken pack” I said as I got the zip to go the whole way round

“I didn’t think it was that much” he said scratching his head with a chuckle as he put his little padlock over the zips

“All ready” Lorilyn said as she popped her head in the door

“as ready as ill ever be” Teddy said nervously as he slid his suitcase off the bed as I dropped to the floor with a loud bang

“I don’t want to know how much you packed” Lorilyn said shaking her head and I helped Ted lift it off the ground and wheel it down the stairs

----------------------------

“one last hug” Lorilyn said as her emotions got the best of her.

“jeez mum how many hugs do you want” Teddy replied rolling his eyes as Lorilyn grabbed him and John and pulled them into a hug, and the final call for their flight was announced.

“ahh mum….could you let go please, we ah kinda have to go” Teddy said as I started laughing and Lorilyn let go of both of them

“thought that would never end” Teddy whispered to me rolling his eyes.

“im going to miss you” I said as a tear ran down the side of my face as pulled me into a tight hug and whiped away the tear.

“im going to miss you to baby, more than you could ever imagine” he said as I tightened my grab that I had around his neck

“do you really have to go….I know I told you to go, but now I don’t want you to” I said as the tears came pouring out.

“I don’t want to leave you, but hey you talked me into going” he said with a laugh trying to lighten the mood.

“I love you so much……” he said as he grabbed onto both sides of my face “more than I ever thought I could love somebody” he finished as he leaned down and gave me one of the most passionate kisses ive ever been on the receiving end of.

“I love you so much, so much that it hurts” I said as I buried my face in his shoulder

“come on son, we have a plane to catch” John said as he put his hand on Teds shoulder.

“alright” teddy replied as he grabbed the back of my head and pulled it towards him and rested it onto his forehead so he could look me in the eyes. We stayed there for a couple of seconds looking into each other eyes until John called his name again

“I don’t want to let go” I whispered giving him one last massive hug

“ I love you Cindy” he said giving me one short but sweet kiss and breaking free of my very tight grip that I had around him. I walked over to Lorilyn and we immediately hugged each other as we watched them walk onto the plane out of sight. We stood there and watched their plane depart and left when we couldn’t see it anymore.

“come on darling, lets go drown our sorrows in a big bunch of chocolate for 3 weeks until they return” Lorilyn said as we laughed and left the airport, both wiping away the tears that were still sliding down our faces.

i wont be updating for the next to weeks, coz im going overseas tomorow and wont be able to write much.
