Chapter 25
-Carry On-
I basically sprinted home from Teds house and nearly got run over on the way, but hey it was worth it last night was amazing to say the least. I just fell through the window and rolled over off my bed when Ben walked in the door.
“what’s with you and falling out of beds, its like a habit for you” he said with a laugh as I started to rub my elbow. He was right though I was forever rolling or falling out of bed, it happened at least twice a week.
“oh haha Ben your such the comedian” I said in a sarcastic voice as he threw a pair of jeans at me. Finally they had been ironed, not that I had been waiting long or anything.
“oh really you think im that good” he said with a smart allic attitude with a fake grin on his face as I got up and recomposed myself.
“yea yea, your hilarious” I said in the same sarcastic tone as before as I plastered the same fake grin on my face that was on his.
“aw thanks bushy” he said as he basically pounced on me and gabbed my head under his arm and frizzled my hair
“BEN….BEN…….STOP IT” I screamed. Not only did it kinda hurt, but he was majorly tangling my hair, and I didn’t really have time this morning to detangle it in the shower.
“jeez calm down…..the funeral is at 10” he said as he let me go
“what???…….what funeral??” I asked in a very confused tone. No one has died recently.
“the funeral for my ear, because you screaming just killed it” he said in a ’duh’ type voice as I let out a giggle
“that was actually a good call…………where did you find it, the back of the cereal box?” I said as he gave me the finger
“no actually I made it up all on my own” he said matter of factly as I laughed and he started making his way to my door
“no seriously I may have knocked a few brain cells out here and there from falling, but im not that stupid to believe you made a call that good” I said as I crossed my arms and leaned to one side.
“yea your right I got it off Emily’s myspace” he said as he smiled and walked out of my room as I laughed. And shock my head to myself. (Oh by the way Emily is Kaitlyn’s sister if you were wondering). I grabbed my towel off the end of my bed and ran to the bathroom, after all I only had 20 minutes to get ready.

It was a beautiful morning today, the sun was out, the birds were chirping, the smell of the season’s flowers filled the air, and I was happy and content with my life. I walked down the street on my way to Lilly’s with a smile on my face as I watched the morning routines of everyone around me. I walked up the steps of Lilly’s house to hear Kerry calling Bella and George to hurry up and meet her outside. I walked through the front door as I was greeted by Kerry, Bella and George running towards me
“hey guys” I said as I waved and they slowed down
“hey” both George and Bella said as they gave me a hug- one on each side
“hey darling…………..Lil’s is in the kitchen” Kerry said as she grabbed my head and kissed my forehead, than ran out the front door. I turned around and watched them run around, get in the car and drive off all whilst laughing. I turned around and followed the voice of Lilly who was in the kitchen singing along to Fergie’s ‘big girls don’t cry”
“hello sexy” I said as I came up behind her and pocked her sides
“ahhh…….hey” she said as she tuned around and hugged me
“you ready??” I questioned as she threw me a red bull that was on the table
“am now” she said with a smile as she grabbed 2 pieces of toast and threw her bag over her shoulder as she handed me one of the pieces of toast.
“alrightly lets bounce” I said as we both laughed, and walked towards the front.

“so wait, you both had the exact same dream except for the fact that in each dream the other one liked some one else?” Lilly asked a bit confused, yet intrigued at the same time.
“yup, and the details were even the same, like the other ‘lover’ even had ginger hair” I said whilst making some weird hand movements as Lilly just shook her head.
“well…..well…..im sure its nothing to worry about….. I mean you both love each other………and plus as far as I know we don’t even have many people at out school with ginger hair anyway, so you have absolutely nothing to worry about” she said in the most convincing tone possible, but I knew she didn’t believe what she was saying because one Lilly is a very superstitious person, and two she was repeating herself which means she is lying, but I give her 2 kudo’s for trying.
“Lilly, you’re a crappy liar….but thankyou for trying” I said as she let out a sigh of relief as is she didn’t have to lie to me. I just laughed as she joined in.
“so apart from that, what time did you end up getting home last night” she questioned as we stopped at the lights and waited for it to go red so we could cross
“um I didn’t get home until the morning, we kinda got side tracked” I said as she stared at me
“side track?
, you mean” she said as I raised my eyebrows up and down as the lights when red and ran off, leaving her standing there waiting for it to kick in, on what had occurred.
“what…..wait… Cindy” she called as she ran after me all the way to school, which was only about 20 meters away from the crossing we had just run across

Running through the gates I literally ran right into Teddy
“well someone is excited to see me” he said with a laugh as he put his arm around my shoulder and kissed my forehead as I laughed.
“CINDY” Lilly yelled as we all turned around and looked in the direction of her voice, as we saw her running towards us.
“now why the hell would you do that then run…….spill what exactly did you annnnnnnnnnnnn………….” she started but then stopped as she realised that both Danny and Teddy were standing there.
“oh hey Ted” she said with a cautious voice as she turned and glared at me and I smiled. I loved teasing her, although she already knew what I had intended she still just wanted to hear me say it.
“oh jeez what am I chopped liver” Danny butted in as we all laughed
“hey Danny” she said as he turned to me and raised one eyebrow. I stood there for a bit until I realized what he was waiting for
“oh…….. hey Danny” I said with an embarrassed laugh, im so slow.
“you are so slow” Danny said as everyone laughed and I buried my head in Teds shoulder in an over dramatic way to show my embarrassment.
“but that’s why we love you” Teddy said as he kissed my head as the bell rang.

Me Teddy, Danny, Ann were all sitting in our usual seats at the back of the room in roll call/ homeroom. I was chatting away with Ann and a group of girls about Mitch’s party on Saturday, which I had totally forgotten about- but no-one knew that. We were deeply in conversation that we didn’t even notice the knocking on the door, and our year co-ordinator walk in.
“GIRLS” Mr Parkins said just below a yell as we all stopped talking and went back to our seats to listen to our year co-ordinator.
“thankyou for your attention girls” Mr Andrews (the year co-ordinator) said sarcastically as he stared at us girls, mainly at me as I gave him a fake grin. I hated him, he was for ever picking on me and Lilly even if we didn’t do anything we would just get blamed.
“now today we are lucky to have two new students joining our school. They are quite shy so I would like it if you all made them welcome and showed them around a bit. Everyone here knows how hard it is to be the new kids, so bare with them” he said as he pointed to the door.
“students please welcome Katie and James” he added on as these two twins walked in the door as I froze and grabbed onto Teddy’s hand. The two people that just walked through the door and GINGER hair and slightly resembled the people in my dream. I looked over at Teddy as he put his arm around me and pulled me close to him
“its all just a coin incidence” he whispered reassuringly in my ear and kissed my forehead.
“Teddy its more than a coincidence…. this is seriously starting to freak me out” I whispered back as we both looked at them
“Teddy, Cindy…………… since the both of you seem to be so interested in these two, you can both show them around the school and make sure they find their way today” Mr Parkins said with a smile as both Katie and James starred at as.
“why don’t you two go take a seat down the back and get to know everyone” Mr Parkins suggested as they both made their way over to the back group.
“what a way to ruin the best morning ive had in a while” I said under my breath as Teddy pulled my in closer to him.

I could sum up those twins in two words, very *friendly* person and sleezy. Katie was all over Teddy, sticking her chest out at him and flirting with him like there was no tomorrow, and James he was the biggest sleeze I had ever met. He kept staring at my boobs and bum the whole time- and he wasn’t trying to hide that fact. But what made it even weird was that it was obvious me and Teddy were going out and were a couple, we made it easy for them to see, yet they were still acting the way they were.
“so right down here at the science rooms…” Teddy said pointing towards the multiple science rooms as he got cut off by Katie.
“ok so like I don’t really like care about the science rooms, science is for losers, lets get to the real stuff like the fashion rooms, you know where you make clothes and talk about fashion and all” Katie said as she flipped her ugly ginger hair over her shoulder and stuck her chest out further towards Teddy- she had been hitting on him the whole time. Teddy just looked down at the ground shaking his head.
“well jeez your not one to hold back your opinions are you” Teddy stated as he looked at her with a hint of annoyance and anger in his stare
“excuse me?” she said as she flipped her hair over her shoulder again. That was really starting to piss me off.
“well you basically just called both my parents and Cindy’s parents losers” Teddy said as he looked over at me
“oh……my bad” she said as she looked down at the ground then slightly raised her head and battered her eyelashes towards Teddy, who just rolled him eyes
“yea your bad” I said under my breath as Teddy looked over at me and let out a laugh.
“well lets go show you those fashion rooms that this school has” Ted said with mock sarcasm as he put his arm around my shoulder as Katie let out a grunt and we lead the way.

“why are they still following us???” I asked Teddy as we were walking towards the group’s area for recess
“ugh…they are following us??” Teddy said with a wine as we dropped our bags and stood there waiting for the rest of the group to come.
“yup and it looks like they think they can sit with us” I said in an annoyed tone as Teddy put his arms around my waist and I did the same with mine and we looked at them making their way through the massive crowd of students towards our direction.
“over my dead body” Teddy replied as I looked up at him with raised eyebrows.
“Bit melodramatic don’t you think Ted” I said with a laugh in my voice
“No…. not really” he said “I mean did you see the way she was all over me, and the way that sleeze was checking you out. Its just uncool for a guy to check out another guy’s girlfriend in front of him, I was seriously about to hit him, I mean he was staring at you like you were some kind of object” he added on with a disgusted tone.
“oh I know, I thought that I was just being crazy and paranoid that he was looking at me like that. I seriously felt so uncomfortable that whole time, that’s why I was basically leaning on you the whole time, so you could block me from him” I said as Lilly and Mitch came over
“you should have told me that you were feeling really uncomfortable, then I definitely would have said something” Teddy replied
“what are you two talking about??” Mitch asked as Teddy started to explain the story
“oh God what a sleeze……..and what a very *friendly* person” Lilly said as Katie and James came and dropped their bags next to ours
“um……and who would you be???” Lilly asked in a rude tone. She already knew who they were but still she had to make a point I suppose of being rude after they way both of the had acted. Katie just stared at Teddy- with her chest stuck out of corse, waiting for him to introduce them, but instead Teddy just bent down and pretended to get something out of his bag.
“oh well im Katie and this is James” she said not even looking at Lilly but at Teddy who was still searching through his bag.
“and….what are you doing here exactly???” Lilly questioned as I stiffed a laugh and bent down to where Teddy was and grabbed his water that was in his bag.
“um well we thought we could sit with you guys considering that we are friends with Candy and Teddy” she said as I chocked on my water
“actually my girlfriends name is CIndy not CAndy” Teddy said before I could get a word in as he got back up and placed his arm around my shoulder. “come on babe, im hungry lets go to vendo‘s” he said as I reached up and interlocked my fingers into the hand that was dangling over my shoulder and walked off, followed by Mitch and Lilly leaving the twins standing there.

“am I the only one who thinks its kinda freaky that those twins have GINGER hair” Lilly whispered to me as we were at the vendor’s
“nope, ive set my mind on thinking it is a coincidence and nothing more than that” I said with a slight fake unsure smile as Lilly returned it.
“OH OH OMG WE HAVE TO TALK” Lilly basically screamed in an excited voice after a few seconds of silence, as she scared both me, Teddy, Mitch and probably everyone around us. A bit off topic of the other conversation I thought.
“OK” I said back in a raised voice- but not anywhere near as loud as she had been.
“lets go…we will be back soon guys, have fun with the twins” Lilly tormented as we walked off and both Teddy and Mitch gave us evil stares.

“ok spill” Lilly said as we sat down under the big oak tree near the sport sheds
“spill…on what” I said with a confused tone. I loved teasing her
“oh come on you know what im talking about, don’t tease me” she said with a little wine as I laughed
“ok so I stayed the night and we ‘took the next step’” I said looking around to make sure no-one else was in hearing distance of what we were talking about. Everyone at our school was nosey and are all interested in everyone else’s affairs so you had to be careful on what you said and where you said it.
I looked over at Lilly who had a massive grin on her face
“omg babe im so happy for you, im glad you have found someone who you truly love and someone who you trusted this much…and omg I cant believe it” she said as she started jumping up and down on the ground joining in with me.
“ahh I no and it was so beautiful, and Teddy was just great, there was no pressure or anything and he kept making sure that I was comfortable and ready” I said as our jumping died down
‘so like how was it…well not how was IT…you know what I mean” she said waving her hands as I laughed
“it was beautiful, he even went and got candles from downstairs and got me a rose from his from garden as well, and then afterwards we watched the sun rise and fell asleep, it was just beautiful” I said in a reminiscing type tone as Lilly tilted her head and smiled.
“aww that’s so cute, d**n you two for being such a cute couple” she replied back as she hit the flor with her fist jokingly.
“yea, but you cant tell anyone, we just wanted to keep it between us” I said in a cautious voice as Lilly nodded knowingly
“of corse…….but we better get back, and see if anything is happening with the twins’ Lilly said as we both grabbed onto each others hands and pulled ourselves up.
“omg I just realized something……ew ew ew ew…. Teddy is my cousin. I don’t want to know about this part of his life” she said with a laugh as I burst out laughing and we had met up with the rest of the group
“calm down you two” Danny said as me and Lilly were still laughing
“oh God you are such an idiot……and your slow” I said towards Lilly as we died down our laughing and I went and sat on Teddy’s lap and he kissed my neck.
“so what did you girls chat about” Mitch asked curiously
“oh..nothing” Lilly said starring at me and Teddy with a massive grin on her face, and I gave her a ‘stop looking so obvious’ look
“want some?” Teddy questioned holding up a pack of chips
“thankyou” I said reaching in the packet as I leaned back and kissed his cheek.

“alright everyone….everyone look to the front for a sec, I just want to say a couple of thing” Mr. Michael or Dom as we called him called out to everyone, as the chatter died down and everyone turned to the forn and listened.
“ok so today im going to hand out the assignment sheet and ‘assign you partners’” he said with quotation marks as he pointed to the sheet where it said that the teacher would pick partners- but we all knew he would let us pick, he was cool like that.
“ok so as you can see, the assignment is a practical and is due some time around September 10th so you have over a good month and a half to do it” he said as he finished handing the assignment sheet out to all of us.
“so in groups of 3-4 you must write and compose a song making sure all the elements we talked about over the past weeks are in there. You must write the song as a group, that means you can re-write a song that has already been created by an artist or you can write your own song from scratch, just as long as it is appropriate” he said as you could see people already starting to pick groups or scribbling lyrics down on a piece of paper
“ok so now that ive given an explanation, why don’t you all go break off in your groups and get started…..ill be around later to check on how everyone is going…..anyone got any questions???” he finished as everyone shock their heads and we broke off into groups.
“alright guys lets go into the next room” Teddy said to me and Danny, we all just knew that we were going together so it was all good.
“Ted we are so using one of your song man” Danny said as I agreed
“that’s exactly what I was thinking” I said in a happy tone as we sat in the back corner of the next music room near the piano
“but I thought you guys would want to write a song where we all wrote it” Ted said. He wasn’t one to be modest
“pft, I can only play the instrument, I cant write the lyrics” I said only my hands up and leaning backwards as they laughed.
“and you know that it takes me forever to write a song, and I usually get frustrated in the end” Danny said scratching his head as we continued laughing
“ok ok, so we will use one of my songs….but the question is what song?” Ted asked as we all went silent and started to think, after all Ted had written some pretty amazing songs.
“well what about ‘try to hard’
” Danny said as Teddy shock his head
“nah to personal” Ted replied
“well what about ‘she’s on my mind’
I questioned “that way it kinda was a group effort coz both of you guys helped in writing it” I said as they started nodding
“we could do that we could do that, or we could always do ‘for you I will’” Ted stated as Danny slammed his hand down on the table
“that’s it, we are so doing ‘for you I will’” Danny said with excitement in his eyes.
“alright ‘for you I will’ it is” I said as we started writing down things on random pieces of paper.
-Carry On-
It was finally the last period of the day and I was so ready for it to be over. Me and Teddy walked into the science room hand in hand as we met up with Lilly and Mitch, who had saved us our seat.
“man im so sick of that girl” Lil stated pointing to Katie who was sitting with none other than Laura in front of us
“bahaha why what did she do to you now?” I asked as she tugged at her hair
“ah the whole time in gym she just kept whining about how she couldn’t hit a ball because she was so unco and blah blah stick chest out blah blah, and kept making this annoying giggle” Lilly whined as we all laughed
“what it isn’t funny, she is so annoying, and she thinks that we are friends so she keeps bugging and talking to me” she added on as our teacher walked into the room
“alright students get in your seats, be quite, face the front and listen” Mrs Clamey said- she wasn’t one to drag out what she wanted, she went straight to the point.
“great she is in a pissy mood” Lilly said under her breath as the class laughed
“I heard that miss Geiger” she said as she turned around and started at Lilly as we all stiffed a laugh.
“ok listen up here everyone, today we have got a lot to go through. I need to hand you out a little topic assignment that you will have to complete in and outside class. And before any of you ask, yes it does go towards you end grade, and no you will not be picking your partners” she continued as everyone sighed.
“miss why cant we pick our partners” Sam the class clown asked
“’don’t you think that was a stupid question to ask after what happened last week” she shot back at him.
“point taken” he replied back as she got Amy to hand out the sheets as she wrote on the board.
“ok so now there is your assignment, its pretty self-explanatory on what you have to do, but if anyone has any questions ask me later…………… Now partners” she said as she shuffled through her papers and found the list as she started reading the names out.
“Lilly your with Mitch, Teddy your with Alyssa, Cindy your with Kris” she said as I whined. Kris , Kris of all people I mean come on what did I do to deserve this. Teddy grabbed on to my hand and leaned over and kissed the side of my face
“ill be right here the whole time if you need me” he whispered into my ear as we both looked over in the direction of Kris and made our way to the different stations.
“hey” Kris said in an awkward tone as he put his books on the table as I just looked up at him
“lets start” I said bluntly as he reached for my hand but I pulled away
“Cindy…….look im sorry fo.….” he started as I stopped
“look Kris. I don’t want to hear your apology because at the moment im still angry with you and I wont except it. You need to realize that im not going to forget what you did any time soon, so when im ready to talk and forgive you I will come tell you, but for the moment I just want to get this work over and done with so I don’t have to spend any more time with you than I need to, got it?” I said as I stared at him then looked down at my sheet
“ok, but ill be waiting for whenever that time comes” he said as we continued our work, until the bell rang
-Carry On-
I was walking out the front gates of the school with Teddy, Lilly and Danny ready to go home. We decided that we would walk home today for some odd reason, but we all agreed.
“so basically everything is finalised and ready for Mitch’s party??” Danny asked as we walked the back way home.
“mostly everything, all I have to do is pick up some food and get the rest of the decorations” Lilly replied as my phone rang
“hello” I said in my end of the phone
“Cindy…you need to get home straight away” Mat said in an anxious and hurrying voice
“um ok calm down, but what going on??” I asked
“get home then I tell you” he said “oh and bring Teddy as well” he added on
“ok we will be home soon” I said as we said goodbye and hung up the phone
“what was that about?” Teddy asked
“Mat said for me to hurry up and get home….and he want you to come as well” I said as they all looked confused
“why what’s going on?” Lilly asked as I shock my head
“I dunno, he just said to get home and bring Teddy…..he seemed pretty anxious as well” I added on as we crossed the road- luckily it was red so we could cross
“oh well in that case, you guys go on a head, me and Lil will catch up with you guys later on” Danny said as we all said goodbye to each other and me and Teddy started to power walk back to my house. I wonder what was going on with Mat???
