hahaha, he has to kiss her...silly Teddy...lol it was good, I loved the chicken finger part, I'm exactly the same way. No matter where we go, I check and see if they have chicken fingers, my family doesn't bother to ask what I'm ordering cuz they know I'll get those. lol but great chapter!

Thanks for the awesome comments everyone. I'm trying to write more. I start back to school tomorrow so the updates aren't going to be posted as frequently as I'd like them to be or whatever. So yeah, I'm working on more now and hope to have it up soon for everyone to read!

So yeah, I haven't finished the next chapter yet...but I'm TRYING my best to finish it today, which I doubt I will. I start back to school today so I don't know how often I'm going to be able to update the fic. I'm definitely updating because I am definitely not quitting this fic.

Chapter 5
The night was slowly coming to an end, and I wasn’t all that happy about it. After bowling, Teddy had decided that he had better go on and get me back to Jamie’s house.
“So…did you have a good time tonight?” Teddy asked as we pulled onto the street Jamie lived on.
“I didn’t think I was going to have a good time, but you will be happy to know that I had a wonderful time tonight. I don’t think the night could have gone any better…honestly,” I said as we pulled into Jamie’s driveway.
“I am very glad to hear that. I thought you were going to have the worst time of your life with me since you hate me.”
“I never said I hated you. I just didn’t like your music before, mainly because I didn’t really listen to it. You still have to own up to giving me that spare CD.”
“Right…here,” Teddy said as he took the CD out of the CD player and followed by putting the car in park.
“Thank you very much Mr. Geiger.”
“Please, don’t call me that. You make me feel extremely old, and I’m only eighteen.”
“My bad,” I said with a sigh as I opened my door and began to get out of the car.
“I was just kidding.”
“I know. Well, I guess I had better say goodbye. I don’t know when I will talk to you or see you again, but thanks again for tonight. It was the best first date a girl can ever imagine.”
“First date?”
“Yeah, it was my first REAL date…long story, not enough time to explain,” I said as I started to shut the car door but stopped when Teddy turned the car off. “What are you doing?”
“I was going to walk you to the door…if you don’t mind.”
“No, I don’t mind at all,” I smiled as I shut the door.
-Be There For You-
I walked up the steps of Jamie’s front porch alongside Teddy and noticed that the porch light suddenly turned on. For some reason, I had a feeling that Jamie and Alyssa were somehow watching mine and Teddy’s every move.
“So yeah…I really had fun tonight. I hope we can do it again sometime,” Teddy said with a shrug of his shoulders followed by the putting of his hands in his pants pockets.
“You should call me the next time you are in town,” I said with a shrug of my shoulders.
“I will do that, most definitely.”
“I guess…goodnight?” I said as I put my hand on the doorknob.
“Wait…I think I have to own up to our little bet,” Teddy said as he reached out and grabbed hold of my hand.
“I was going to let you slide, but if you want to…” I started to say but stopped when Teddy leaned in and kissed me, “then go ahead. Wow, I never really expected you to do that.”
“I always own up to whatever bets I make.”
“That is nice to know,” I said with a smile. “Well…goodnight again,” I said with a smile as I gave Teddy a hug.
“I’ll call you…sometime.”
“Okay,” I said with another smile as I opened the front door and stepped inside Jamie’s house.
-Be There For You-
“Looks like someone had a good night tonight,” Alyssa said with a mischievous smile.
That smile…I knew that she and Jamie had to have been watching. The smile made it very obvious.
“I don’t know what you are talking about,” I lied as I continued to walk into the living room.
“Oh come on Kourt…don’t lie to us! We totally saw you and Teddy making out on my front porch,” Jamie said as she walked ahead of me into the living room.
“We weren’t making out. He just had to own up to the bet we made at the bowling alley,” I said as I shrugged my shoulders and sat on the couch.
“I think someone has found themselves a new boyfriend,” Alyssa said as she sat in one of the recliners.
“He ISN’T my boyfriend. I hardly even know the guy.”
“You know you want him to be your boyfriend though,” Jamie said.
“I don’t know if I want him to be my boyfriend or not. I’m not even sure if I want a boyfriend right now.”
“Well…Teddy said he thinks he’s falling for you,” Alyssa said as she began typing away on a text message that was probably to Teddy.
“What are you talking about?”
“I just got a text message from Teddy. He said he thinks he may just be falling for you. He definitely wants to see you again.”
“Yeah…when do you plan on seeing him again?” Jamie asked.
“I don’t know…whenever he comes back into town, I guess.”
“Kourtni, he’s in town for the rest of the WEEK. He has some time off so he’s staying down here to visit some family,” Alyssa said.
“I didn’t know that.”
“You should totally see him tomorrow. I think it would be a great idea.”
“I don’t know about that Alyssa.”
“Well, too bad. I already told him you didn’t have any plans. You didn’t have plans, did you?”
“I was going to go shopping.”
“Well, shopping can wait. You should be getting a call from Teddy sometime later tonight or maybe early tomorrow morning. He said he definitely wants to hang out with you again.”
“What else is there to do in town? There isn’t ANYTHING. We have done pretty much everything.”
“You didn’t go and see a movie,” Alyssa said with a smile.
“Oh no, it’s that smile! It’s like you have some sort of idea in your head. Whatever it is, I don’t want to know,” I said as I got up off of the couch and headed upstairs. “I’m going to take a shower.”
-Be There For You-
I had gotten out of the shower, and almost immediately my cell phone was ringing. I could tell by the ring tone that it was Teddy.
“Hello,” I answered as I put on my glasses and began to run a brush through my soaking wet hair.
“Hi,” Teddy said in a shy sounding voice.
“Well, hello there Teddy…so nice to hear from you. I mean, it’s been ages since I’ve seen you. So, what are you up to? Why call me?”
“I was calling to see if you had any plans for tomorrow.”
“Um, I was going to go shopping down at the mall…but that’s it. Why? Do you want to hang out or something? If so, we could totally chill out at my house sometime tomorrow. My parents are out of town for the weekend, so it’ll only be my older brother and me.”
“Older brother?” Teddy said in a REALLY nervous voice.
“Yeah, I have an older brother. His name is Jackson. He won’t freak out if he sees you, I promise. This may sound odd coming from me…but he actually likes your music, more than me…at least for now. He always has your CD playing in his car or in his room. The boy can’t stop listening to it. He even dedicated ‘For You I Will’ to his girlfriend Kaylie.”
“That’s pretty cool, I guess.”
“So, do you want to hang out or what? You just let me know, and I’ll see what I can do.”
“What time are you going shopping?”
“It’ll be in the morning, around nine which is when the mall opens.”
“Okay. How long will it take you?”
“I don’t really know. You could always go with me if you wanted.”
“Would you seriously want ME to go shopping with you? I will let you know that I’m not much of a shopping kind of guy.”
“Most guys don’t like to go shopping, but it would be cool if you came. You don’t have to if you don’t want to. It’s your decision.”
“I’ll let you know sometime tomorrow morning…before nine. If I decide to go, I’ll probably just meet you at the mall or something.”
“Sounds like a plan to me.”
“Well, I need to be getting off this phone and get some rest. I’ve been up since five this morning.”
“I beat you. I have been up since four thirty.”
“Ha, that’s nice. Well, goodnight for the fourth time.”
“Goodnight Ted,” I said with a smile and laugh as I hung up my cell phone.
