it is a really short first chapter, but it's all i could think of for now. i'm sorry it's so short. but here it is:
I’ll Always Be There for You
Teddy Geiger Fan Fiction
Chapter 1
It was June 21, 2006…another typical summer day for me; well…it wasn’t that typical. My two best friends, Alyssa and Jamie, had talked me into going to see Teddy Geiger in concert. Normally I wouldn’t go and see a Teddy concert, but I figured I would go since my best friends did an excellent job at begging me.
As I sat in front of my bathroom mirror applying my makeup, I overheard my cell phone begin to ring. I quickly jumped up and ran to get it. It was going to be Jamie or Alyssa. They had been calling me every five minutes to make sure I was still going with them. Of course I was going. They had even talked me into DRIVING them.
“Hello,” I answered as I picked up my phone and walked back into my bathroom.
“Are you almost ready? I hope so because I am ready for you to come and pick us up. I can hardly sit still,” Alyssa said as I began to put my makeup back into my cute little makeup bag.
“I am fixing to leave in like five minutes. All I have left to do is straighten my hair. Do you think you can sit still for five minutes?”
“I don’t know, but I will try. PLEASE HURRY! Bye,” Alyssa said quickly as she hung up her cell phone.
-Be There For You-
I had barely pulled up into Jamie’s driveway, and she and Alyssa were already running down the driveway. They had all of their Teddy gear flying in the air behind them as they ran.
“I take it you guys are really ready to get down to the mall…huh?” I laughed as they got into my car.
“Well…hello to you too,” Jamie laughed as she managed to stuff all of her Teddy gear into the backseat of my car.
“I wonder how many people are going to be there,” Alyssa said as she sat in the front seat. “And Kourt, you should really cheer up. Teddy isn’t as bad as you think he is.”
“I will be the judge of that whenever we get to the mall, okay?” I laughed as I began to slowly back out of Jamie’s driveway.
-Be There For You-
After a ten minute ride, we finally arrived at the mall. Instead of immediately jumping out of the car, Jamie and Alyssa carefully got out of the car. It seemed as if they had lost some excitement on the ride over.
“You guys…cheer up! You are fixing to see Teddy Geiger in concert,” I said as I tried to cheer them back up.
“We are still excited, just bummed we don’t have backstage passes. My mom forgot to call the radio station to see if they had any left,” Alyssa shrugged as we all started towards the mall.
“I know something that will cheer ya’ll up for sure,” I said as I began to dig around in my purse for the oh so special surprise I had gotten for the two of them and myself as well.
“The only thing that will make us extremely happy is those backstage passes,” Jamie said as I stopped short of the front doors of the mall.
“Here you go,” I said as I pulled three backstage passes out of my purse. “I was able to get the first thing of backstage passes. My aunt’s boyfriend works at the station and set three aside for me.”
“WHAT?” Jamie and Alyssa yelled as they turned to face me.
“I snagged us some backstage passes, that’s what. We are all going to meet Teddy Geiger!”
“When are we supposed to be backstage?” Alyssa asked as we entered the mall.
“Five minutes,” I said as I looked at the time on my cell phone.
“We had better get going then! Teddy is going to hate it if we are late. He doesn’t like it when people are late…at least I don’t think he does,” Jamie shrugged as we spotted the stage.
“Well, that looks like the stage. We had better ask and figure out where Teddy is at the moment so we can meet him,” Alyssa said.
“What are we waiting for?” I said in a semi-excited voice to keep the girls cheerful. “Let’s get going girls!”
-Be There For You-
“I don’t know where he could be,” Alyssa said as she spun around in circles trying to look for Teddy’s dressing room.
“Well, I see a security guard over by the bathroom. Should I go up and ask him if he knows where the dressing room is?” Jamie asked.
“If you don’t mind that would be great of you to ask him. I’m way too nervous to ask anyone anything.”
“But Alyssa, I thought you didn’t get nervous in situations like this?” I said with a small laugh as Jamie headed to chat with the security guard.
“I was so wrong,” Alyssa said as Jamie returned to the table we were sitting down at.
“He said there isn’t an actual dressing room. Teddy is going to be getting dressed on his bus. The security guard said he’d let Teddy know the contest winners were here, which is confusing to me. We didn’t win a contest, did we?”
“The station was supposed to have some kind of contest, but my uncle talked to his boss and they ended up not ever having the contest. We got them for free…well, kind of. I have to pay my uncle back whenever I get two hundred dollars,” I shrugged as Jamie sat back down at the table.
“Two HUNDRED?” Alyssa asked. “Do I owe you anything?”
“Nope, neither of you owe me a single penny. This is like an early Christmas gift,” I laughed as I spotted the security guard and Teddy heading our way. “Here comes your main squeeze ladies.”
