This isn't going to be the best chapter. I don't really like what I have written so far. I know it's bad of me to say this, but I'm kind of getting tired of writing this fan fic. I am running out of ideas.

I'm just ready to start my next fan fic. Even though I think it'll be a while before I even get started on it.

This next chapter is going to be REALLY long mainly because I am going to make this the last and final chapter of this particular fan fiction. I'm running out of ideas, and I think this would be the perfect time to end it.

Chapter 10

It was finally Christmas day, morning to be exact, and I had been up since about four in the morning. Instead of waking Teddy up for help, I let Teddy get his sleep. Besides, being up this early gave me time to wrap Teddy’s presents.

“I hope Aunt Kaylie and Uncle Jesse bring your presents today Ad,” I said to Addison as I heard his bedroom door open. “Who could that be?”

“Merry Christmas,” Teddy said as he snuck up behind me and kissed my forehead.

“Merry Christmas.”

“Have you talked to Jesse or Kaylie yet?”

“Nope, I haven’t heard from them yet. Could you do me a favor and go out to the pool house and start to bring Addison’s presents from me and my mom inside?”

“Sure, but I thought Kaylie and Jesse were bringing his presents over.”

“They are bringing over his presents that are from them, not from me. And besides I need to finish wrapping some of your presents, okay?”

“Do you need me to take Addison with me?”

“Nope, I think he will be just fine in here. He seems pretty content in his crib at the moment, but thanks for offering.”

“I will be back in a minute,” Teddy said as he turned and headed out of Addison’s room.

-Just So You Know-

An hour had passed, and Teddy and I were now sitting in the living room with Addison…waiting on Jesse and Kaylie to show up so we could open presents. So far this had been the most exciting and best Christmas of my life. I was just happy to have Teddy home for the holidays.

“What is taking them so long? I thought they were supposed to be here like five minutes ago,” I said as I paced around the living room while Teddy sat on the couch giving Addison his bottle.

“Traffic has the potential to be crazy today…or so the news said,” Teddy shrugged as he prepared to burp Addison. “At least they are coming over. They don’t have to come you know.”

“I know, but I wish they would just hurry up and get here. I am ready to open up my presents, as well as those for Addison.”

“You can go on and open my gifts from me, if you’d like.”

“Okay, I guess that will be fine. I just need to do something to pass time until they get here. Are my presents under the tree or what? If they aren’t could you please go get them while I get your presents out?”

“Mine for you are up in the guest bedroom. I will go and get them. Can you watch Ad?”

“Yeah, I can put him in his little baby swing while you run upstairs and get the presents. Don’t take too long! You don’t want to make me even more anxious.”

“Alright,” Teddy laughed as he handed Addison over to me and ran up the stairs.

-Just So You Know-

Five minutes passed and Teddy was now walking back into the living room with a stack of presents that almost covered up his face. I was sitting on the couch with his presents stacked up in front of me.

“Merry Christmas,” Teddy said as he sat the presents on the coffee table. “I hope you like them. Go ahead, open them!”

“You open yours first. I’m too excited to open mine right now. I just really hope you like yours. I spent a lot of money on them,” I said as I rocked back and forth in my place.

“Exactly how much money are we talking here?”

“It doesn’t matter, just open them!” I said as Teddy reached for a box.

“Woah…this is a really nice watch. How much was it?” Teddy asked as he removed his watch from a box and slid it onto his wrist.

“I think was about three hundred…wait, why am I telling you how much it costs? It isn’t any of your business! I spent my money on it so I shouldn’t have to tell you how much it cost.”

“Okay, well, open one of your presents from me.”

“Which one should I open first?”

“This one,” Teddy said as he handed me a box.

Seeing the box I instantly thought he had gotten me clothes, the LAST thing I needed.

“Alrighty,” I said with a smile as I began to take off the wrapping paper.

Seconds later I was taking the top of the box off. Inside was a beautiful Vera Bradley diaper bag. Ever since I found out that I was pregnant with Addison, I had wanted one of these. Now I was finally getting one, after three long months of waiting.

“Thanks Ted,” I said as I leaned over and kissed Teddy’s cheek. “I have always wanted one of these, and plus…this is my favorite pattern! And it isn’t even that girly looking!”

“Your mom and my mom helped pick that one out.”

“It’s really cute. I am sure it will get used quite often. Now, open another one of your gifts.”

“Which one should I open?”

“This one,” I said as I handed Teddy a box that was full of boxers, yes…boxers.

“It smells like clothes.”

“I don’t know if I would classify this as clothes. Just open it and you’ll see what it is. I think you’re going to laugh though.”

“Boxers…ha, thanks a lot. These will definitely come in handy,” Teddy laughed as he put the top back on the box.

“You’re welcome,” I smiled as the doorbell rang. “It looks like the two losers have finally arrived. Let’s go see what they brought.”

-Just So You Know-

“Merry Christmas!” Kaylie exclaimed when I opened the front door to find Jesse standing there with bags of presents. “We brought presents and food! We hope you don’t mind two extra people this lovely Christmas morning.”

“The more guests the merrier this Christmas will be. And thanks for bringing some good food! My mom is working today so she won’t be able to cook anything. What all kinds of food did you bring?” I asked as I stepped aside and let the two step inside and get out of the cold weather.

“I am not really sure. Merry Christmas,” Jesse said as I gave him a hug.

“Where are Teddy and little Addison?” Kaylie asked as she sat the bags down on the dining room table.

“They are in the living room doing who knows what. Do you need help carrying some of the presents into the living room?”

“Nope…I think Jesse can carry the presents to the living room. Could you help me set up the foods though?”

“Of course,” I smiled as Jesse headed off towards the living room. “He looks upset about something.”

“He didn’t really want come and see you because of the fight the other day. He thought you weren’t going to let him in or something crazy like that.”

“No, I forgot about the whole fight anyways. I put it all behind me once Teddy flew in later that afternoon.”

“Maybe you should tell Jesse that. I figured that’s what happened, but I don’t think Jesse exactly understands that you may have forgotten about it.”

“Why don’t you tell him? I’m going to be too busy running around with Addison today. He still has a little bit of a cold.”

“It wouldn’t be my place to tell him Kourt. You should be the one telling him since it deals with you, not me.”

“Alright…fine,” I sighed as I left the dining room and headed to find Jesse.

-Just So You Know-

“Jesse…I need to talk to you for a minute. Sorry Ted,” I said as I entered the living room briefly then stepped back out and waited for Jesse to come out so we could talk.

“What’s up?” Jesse asked as he walked out of the living room.

“Look, I’m sorry about the fight the other day at the mall. It was my fault, and I just wanted to let you know that I am sorry and that I’ve put that whole thing behind me. I hope you’ll still want to be my friend and be an excellent godfather to Ad.”

“It isn’t all your fault, but I forgive you anyways…and I accept your apology. I’m sorry about the way I acted too. I was kind of an idiot, huh?”

“If you want to call it that then I guess so,” I laughed.

“Alright…so we are friends again?”

“Friends,” I said with a smile as I gave Jesse a hug. “Now I will let you get back to your guy time with Addison and Teddy. I’m going to head back into the dining room to help Kaylie.”

“Alrighty then,” Jesse said with a smirk as he turned and headed back into the living room.

-Just So You Know-

“How did it go?” Kaylie asked as I walked back into the dining room to find her putting out plates, napkins, and silverware.

“It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. We both apologized for the way we acted. And we agreed that we were friends again,” I said as I took the napkins from Kaylie and started to place them next to the plates she had already set.

“I am glad to know that you two are friends again. I think it would have been a pretty miserable Christmas day had the two of you not made up.”

“It wouldn’t have been miserable for me, but I understand when you say it was going to be miserable for you. You are the one who has to spend the night with him. While we are on the subject matter of Jesse, how is that whole thing going? Are ya’ll dating yet?”

“I guess you have a right to know about my private and personal life; you are my best friend…so I guess I can trust you with that type of information. Yes, he asked me out last night under the mistletoe, right after he kissed me.”

“Aw, that sounds so sweet!”

“It was a pretty sweet moment, indeed.”

“Should I go and get the boys? It looks like we have set out most everything that we need.”

“Yeah, I think we are ready to eat.”

“Alright. I will be right back then,” I said as I walked out of the dining room and headed to find the boys.

-Just So You Know-

“Boys…it’s time to eat,” I said as I entered the living room to find Jesse and Teddy on the floor tickling Addison.

“Coming,” Jesse and Teddy said in unison as they began to stand up.

“Jess, could you take Addison on into the dining room? I need to talk to Kourtni for a minute. Tell Kaylie we should be in there shortly,” Teddy said as Jesse picked up Addison and headed towards the dining room.

“No problem dude,” Jesse said with a smile as he exited the living room.

“What is it we need to talk about Ted? I am starting to get really nervous for some odd reason. Should I be nervous or not?”

“You don’t have a reason to be nervous, no. I just wanted to tell you a few things.”

“What kind of things do you want to tell me?”

“I just wanted to thank you for every single present you got me. I appreciate them so much, you just don’t even know. And thanks also for making this the best Christmas I have had in a long time. Just so you know, I am so thankful that I met you…and that we had little Addison. Life without the two of you would have been pretty boring.”

“Thanks for saying all of that nice stuff, and I hope you know I feel the same way about you. And I’m super excited for our wedding, whenever that shall be. I cannot wait until I become Mrs. Teddy Geiger. Wow, it feels really weird saying that,” I laughed as I gave Teddy a hug. “I love you, and Merry Christmas,” I said as I kissed Teddy.

“I love you too,” Teddy replied with a smile as we headed for the dining room.
