Chapter 11
“So, what do you want to talk about?” I asked as I sat down on what was more than likely Teddy’s bed, as Teddy sat down at some sort of desk in the room.
“I don’t know and don’t really care. What do you want to talk about?” Teddy replied with a question. “Oh wait a minute; I do have something I want to ask you.”
“Okay, what is that one thing you have to ask me?”
“When are you leaving?”
“Our flight leaves tomorrow around ten in the morning. What about you? When are you coming back for a visit? You know, we don’t have that much summertime left. School is fixing to start for us normal people.”
“I’m a normal person too. I finished high school, just not like you. And plus, I want to go to college…just not right now, not when my career is just taking off.”
“I understand…I think,” I sighed.
“What’s wrong?” Teddy asked as he sat down next to me and proceeded to wrap his arm around my neck. “I can tell that something is bothering you.”
“I don’t know what it is that’s bothering me actually.”
“If you figure it out soon, you know you can tell me.”
“Wait, I lied. I do know what it is that is bothering me.”
“Well, what is it? You know you can trust me. I won’t go running off to tell anyone, unless you give me permission to do so.”
“No, I don’t want anyone to know. Honestly I don’t even want you to know, but I have to tell you since it does kind of deal with you.”
“Out with it, please?”
“I’m scared.”
“Scared of what? There is nothing to be scared of.”
“I am scared that you will forget about me, since I’m fixing to start school and all. I’m scared that you won’t ever come and visit me again or whatever else like that.”
“Kourtni, there is no way I could forget you. It would be extremely hard to forget about you.”
“That is what a lot of people say,” I sighed as I lay back on Teddy’s bed. “Let’s watch a movie or something. You can pick it, just as long as it’s a funny one. I don’t want to watch a scary one, got it?”
“Sure thing,” Teddy said as he started searching through the list of movies on the TV guide.

I rolled over and noticed I had fallen asleep in Teddy’s hotel room rather than mine and the girls’ room. Sitting up I took a quick glance at the clock and saw it was five thirty in the morning. Now was when I began to FREAK out.
“Teddy…WAKE UP!” I said as I shook Teddy who was dead to the world.
“WHAT IS IT?” Teddy somewhat yelled as he sat up. “Woah, what are you doing here? It’s five thirty in the morning.”
“That is exactly what I was fixing to ask you. I guess I fell asleep during the movie last night. But anyways, I need to be going. I have to get my shower and get my bags packed. Bye,” I said as I jumped out of bed and ran towards the door, realizing that I was STILL in my bathing suit from the night before.
“Wait, am I going to be able to see you again before you fly back home?”
“You can come down to the parking lot around eight forty-five. That is when we are departing for the airport. We want to make sure we don’t get caught in any traffic jams.”
“If I’m not sleeping, I want to be down there. There is something I think I need to tell you.”
“Then why don’t you tell me now before I leave?”
“I don’t know if I want to say it or not. That’s why I would do it later, since it would allow me a little more time to think on the matter.”
“Okay. Well, I need to be going. Bye,” I said as I opened the door and headed down the hall to my room.
-Be There For You-
-Teddy’s POV-
An hour had passed since Kourtni had left my hotel room. I was still thinking on what I had to ask her, or at least what I WANTED to ask her. Right now I didn’t know what to do, so I decided to pick up my cell phone and call Jamie.
“Hello,” Jamie answered.
“It’s Teddy,” I said.
“What do you need?”
“I need some advice on something.”
“What kind of advice do you need? I am here to help out a friend.”
“There is something I kind of want to ask Kourtni, but I’m not so sure if I should. What do you think I should do?”
“Well, I cannot give you advice until you let me know what it is you are thinking about asking her. I mean, I have an idea but not so sure if it is the right idea. Are we thinking the same thing?”
“I believe we are. So, what should I do?”
“You should ask her. She really likes you; at least that is what she claims.”
“Really?”
“Ted, would I lie to you?”
“I would hope not,” I sighed.
“I wouldn’t lie to you. You are a good friend, and I wouldn’t want to see you get hurt like that. But yeah, you should TOTALLY ask her. She would freak out if you did. I promise she wouldn’t know what to say.”
“Are you sure?”
“I am one THOUSAND percent sure. And I know she would say yes because if she didn’t then Alyssa and I would be the stew out of her! She would be INSANE to turn you down. Not many girls get the opportunity, so yeah…I’m sure she would say yes.”
“Okay. I will THINK about asking her.”
“Good boy,” Jamie laughed. “Well, I will talk to you later.”
“Bye,” I said with a laugh as I hung up my phone.
-Be There For You-
The time for the girls and I to leave the hotel was fast approaching. Drake was helping us carry our bags down to his SUV in which he was going to be taking us to the airport. I hadn’t spoken to Teddy since five thirty this morning, when I ran out of his hotel room realizing I was leaving in a few hours. I was starting to worry that he wasn’t going to come and say goodbye to me.
“Is there anything that we are forgetting before I go turn the key in?” Alyssa asked as Jamie and Drake shut the back door on Drake’s SUV.
“Nope…I think we managed to get everything,” I replied.
“And even a few extra things too!” Jamie laughed in reference to the towels and little things of soap that we took out of the hotel room.
“Jamie…what did I tell you about stealing stuff from hotels?” Drake asked as he shot a stern look over at Jamie.
“I can’t help myself,” Jamie shrugged with a laugh.
“You three hang tight while I go turn the key in,” Alyssa laughed as she turned and headed back to the front desk so that she could turn in our keys.
-Be There For You-
Alyssa was walking back out to Drake’s SUV and still there was no word from Teddy. Now I was extremely worried that he wasn’t going to say goodbye. I wanted to tell him goodbye before I left, since I had no clue when I’d see him again.
“If that’s everything then we can be going,” Alyssa declared as she approached Drake’s vehicle again.
“WAIT,” Teddy yelled as he came running out of the hotel lobby, almost tripping over his own two feet. “Kourtni, wait! We need to talk before you leave.”
“Okay?” I said in a confused voice, not having a clue as to what he was talking about.
“Excuse us…please,” Teddy said as he took my hand and led me away from Drake’s vehicle.
“What is it Ted?” I asked as Teddy leaned up against the van he was being driven around in for the weekend.
“There is something I need to ask you before you leave. If I don’t ask you now then I’m going to hurt myself later for not asking.”
“Well, I’m listening.”
“I wanted to know if you would be my girlfriend.”
“Let me think on it.”
“Okay, yeah, that is totally okay with me. I knew you would probably need to think on it. Just call or text me whenever you feel like answering. Okay?”
“Alright, that I think I can do.”
“Sounds like a plan to me.”
“Bye Ted,” I said as I kissed Teddy’s cheek and turned to head back to where everyone else was standing.
-Be There For You-
“Hey Kourt…what did Teddy want earlier?” Jamie asked as we all got comfortable in our plane seats.
“He just had to ask me something,” I replied trying to avoid answering the question fully.
“Like what? What did he have to ask you? You have to tell us now since you’ve already told us half of the deal,” Alyssa said as she sipped on her water.
“He asked me out…okay?”
“Well?” Jamie said as she gave me a weird look. “Did you say yes or what?”
“I told him I needed to think about it.”
“Are you CRAZY?” Alyssa said as she dropped her magazine onto the floor of the plane.
“It’s not something I can answer instantly, especially since I don’t really know him as well as you do. If I had known him for all of my life then maybe I could’ve said yes instantly.”
“You had better not hurt the guy. That is all I have to say,” Alyssa said as she leaned back in her seat.

I wondered why you were laggin! jk jk!! take your time...make sure the next chapter is so spectacular that we are completely blown away...but don't take so long that we lose interest...u know? haha, jk, but yah..I'm just bored so I'm rambling useless information...hm...I think I'll read your old fan fics, cuz I haven't...so I'll do that now...ok, I'm done...=D
