This thread has gotten sooooo off topic. Haha.
I'm trying to write more, but the next couple of weeks are going to be hectic. I have to work on my science project AND start working on stuff for my prom. I hope to get more up tonight.

Chapter 10

Drake’s concert had been over for about two or three hours. While Jamie, Drake, and Alyssa went out to see some Broadway show, Teddy and I were out eating dinner at Planet Hollywood.

“This place is so amazing,” Teddy said as we sat in our booth waiting for our food to be brought to us.

“Yeah…I love it. I loved it the first time I came here back on my school trip in 2004,” I said as I looked up at Teddy and smiled.

“What is it? Is there something on my face?”

“No, there isn’t anything on your face Ted. I just can’t help but smile when I look up at you. That’s how excited I am to see you. I honestly thought it was going to be months before I saw you again.”

“You know I wouldn’t allow months to pass before I saw you again. It would only be a few days, a week at the most.”

“It is somewhat comforting to hear that.”

“So, I guess you like me now?”

“Don’t be so sure of yourself now Ted,” I smiled as the waitress approached our table with our food in tow.

-Jamie’s POV-

The later part of the evening was fast approaching and no one had heard from Kourtni or Teddy. We were all starting to get worried about when they would be getting back from their dinner.

“I hope they are having fun,” Alyssa shrugged as we sat in Drake’s hotel room watching television.

“I hope so too, but they need to be getting back soon. We do have to leave in the morning,” I replied as Drake put his arm around my neck.

“I thought you were staying for an extra day,” Drake said as he kissed my forehead.

“Well, we had intended on doing that but plans changed. Turns out I have to be in my cousin’s wedding this weekend. We just found out about it. Weird, I know.”

“That sucks,” Alyssa sighed as she pulled out her cell phone, which was ringing.

“Who is it?” Drake asked.

“It’s Teddy. Let me take this in the…bathroom I guess,” Alyssa said as she took her phone and walked into the bathroom.

-Be There For You-
-Alyssa’s POV-

“Hello,” I answered as I shut the bathroom door.

“Hey Lys…it’s me Kourtni,” Kourtni surprisingly said on the other end. I definitely wasn’t expecting to hear her on Teddy’s phone.

“What are you doing on Ted’s phone?”

“My phone is dead, besides…it doesn’t get any service up here. I just wanted to call you guys and let you know that we are just now getting back to the hotel. Ted and I are going out to the hot tub for a little while. You and the others can join us if you’d like.”

“Okay. We may head down there later, at least I might. I think Jamie and Drake need their alone time.”

“It may be needed,” Kourtni laughed. “Well, I better get off this phone since it isn’t mine. See you later, hopefully.”

-Be There For You-

“What do you think?” I asked Teddy as I stepped out of the bathroom in my navy blue and white polka dotted two-piece swimsuit. “And please don’t tell me you are totally disgusted. I know I’m not the best looking girl and am definitely not the best looking girl in a bathing suit. And you know you can stop me at any time if you want.”

“I think you look quite nice in the bathing suit. And so what if everyone else doesn’t like the way you look in a bathing suit? I happen to think you are one of the hottest girls in a bathing suit,” Teddy smiled as he got up off of my bed.

“Thanks beautiful gorgeous,” I smiled as I grabbed my towel and turned around to head towards the door, but instead knock my head on the door. “Ow,” I said as I fell back onto the ground.

“You okay?” Teddy somewhat laughed as he helped me up off of the floor. “I know, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be laughing at all.”

“You are so mean to me!” I scoffed as I opened the door and headed down the hall and to the elevator.

“Hey…wait up!” Teddy called out after me as I walked onto the elevator.

-Be There For You-

“Are you going to at least let me apologize sincerely?” Teddy asked as I walked over to the hot tub and dropped my towel on a lounge chair next to the hot tub.

“You have your chance. Talk away,” I sighed as Teddy got in the hot tub and sat next to me.

“I am sorry for laughing at you earlier. I really didn’t mean to. Honestly, I couldn’t help it. What happened in your room was just something I couldn’t help but laugh at. But I want you to know that I am really sorry for laughing at you. Will you forgive me?”

“How do I know you are being serious with me right now? I want to believe you, but I don’t know if I should. You could be trying to trick me or something.”

“Would I do this if I was trying to trick you?” Teddy asked as he kissed my forehead, specifically the part that was hurting like crazy right now.

“Well, no…I wouldn’t think so.”

“So, do you believe me or what?”

“I can’t help but to believe you. I don’t think you could ever lie to me. At least I hope you wouldn’t ever lie to me,” I smiled at Teddy as I noticed Alyssa walking over to the hot tub with her towel in hand. “ALYSSA!” I exclaimed with a laugh as Alyssa joined us in the hot tub.

“Where’s the other two?” Teddy questioned, referring to where Jamie and Drake were.

“They requested some alone time with each other. You know they haven’t hung out in almost three months. That’s a record for them,” Alyssa said.

“I figured. They do deserve some alone time though. I mean to be dating for almost a year and go nearly three months without seeing each other, wow…that is a record,” I replied.

“So Alyssa, how’s your boyfriend doing? Where is he at right now?” Teddy asked.

“Well, Tyler is out in California right now. I’m not real sure if he is working on his album or if he is working on a movie. He hasn’t called in a week, so I’m not sure. When I last talked to him he was writing songs for his album.”

“Alyssa, are you at all worried about him not calling you for almost a week?” I questioned. “I know I would be a little worried.”

“He wouldn’t cheat on me…I know he wouldn’t. If he did, then he would be in major trouble.”

“Yeah he would! He would have to deal with Jamie and me. If it were up to us, he’d never hear the end of it.”

“I love you two girls!” Alyssa said as she gave me a hug.

“Well, I’ve had enough of this hot tub. I think I’m going back up to my room. You girls can stay down here and chat or do whatever you please,” Teddy said as he started to get out of the pool.

“I will come up to your room so we can talk later, okay?” I said as Teddy picked up his towel and shirt and headed towards the doors that led back into the hotel.

“I hope I’m awake,” was all Teddy said right before he opened the door and got onto the elevator.

-Be There For You-

A good twenty minutes passed before I got out of the hot tub. I had forgotten that I promised to go up and see Teddy before I went to sleep.

“Hey Lys…I’m sorry but I have to go so I can see Teddy before he gets to sleep,” I said as I wrapped up in my towel and slipped on my flip-flops.

“It’s okay. I think Jamie and Drake are coming down here now,” Alyssa replied as I looked up to find Jamie and Drake walking in the direction of the hot tub.

“Hey guys…bye guys!” I said as I headed back into the hotel and for the elevator.

-Be There For You-

I approached Teddy’s hotel room door and realized I still had my bathing suit on. There was no time for me to change, so I just stepped forward and knocked on Teddy’s door. Hopefully he was still awake and not in bed asleep.

Seconds earlier I heard footsteps heading towards the door. Teddy hadn’t gone to sleep yet, which was good.

“Hey,” Teddy said as he opened the door and saw me.

“Hi! I told you I would be up here in a little bit. It was only like twenty minutes,” I said as I almost dropped my towel.

“Would you like to come in and talk? It’s a little chilly in this hallway. I promise it is a lot warmer in my room.”

“Sure,” I said with a smile as I stepped inside Teddy’s hotel room and shut the door behind me.
