Hey guys! Well. Since i'm such a huge fan of all the fanfics on this board, I was randomly bored and started one of my ownn..
Oh, and Haylie is almost like Kaylie. ahah, and Haylie is my best friend's name who's moving to LA in a bit. So this story is..sort of..dedicated to her. =D
And the story..is..kind of inspired by Teddy's demo of 'Our eyes' which is amazing!
I only have a little bit done, but tell me what you guys think =D

I watched as the snow fell and landed on the grass. It was the first Sunday of my winter break and It had finally felt like winter. It was 11:30 in the morning, and that was WAYY to early to be up, it's the holidays! and i'm supposed to sleep until like, 1..
"HAYLIE! FOOOOODDDD!" yelled my brother from the bottom of the staircase. My brother was obnoxious, but hilarious at times.
"Coming!" I yelled back as I got off my bed and walked downstairs.
I walked into the kitchen and saw my brother scarfing down food like there was no tomorrow. "Hey! Don't eat all the food! I want some too!" I told my brother, Matt, as I hit him in the head.
"Mooommmm....make more food for the pig." my brother told my mom in between bites.
"I'M NOT A PIG!" I yelled at him and pushed him playfully.
"Don't call your sister a pig, Matt!" replied my mother as she started making more pancakes and waffles.
"Yeah, listen to your mother, boy." I laughed as Matt rolled his eyes and stuffed a forkfull of waffles into his mouth.

After breakfast I had settled in front of the couch for a morning of cartoons and MTV. Then my doorbell rang.
"HAYLIE, IT'S YOUR FRIENDS!" called my brother.
"Coming!" I yelled back as I got off the couch and walked towards the door. "Erin!" I said as I gave my best friend a quick hug. "Wait. What time is it?! I though..we're going to the mall..at like..2?"
She pulled her cell out of her bag and looked at the time "Haha, oops? I sort of told everyone to meet at the mall like,an hour earlier..but uh..they're all there..so we should just go.."
I glanced quickly at what I was wearing. "HOLD ON!" I ran back upstairs to get changed. No way I was going to the mall in my pj's.
After 10 minutes I was ready to go as I grabbed my phone off my table and ran back downstairs.
"Mom! I'm going out with Erin! I'll be back later!" I called as I closed to door.
"So, where are we off to now?" I asked
"Westview Mall food court." She smiled. The mall was probably like her heaven. If she wasn't at her home or at school, she would be there. I laughed.

Once we got inside we walked straight to the food court. It was pretty empty for the weekend..There were a couple people sitting there, eat their food.
Some kids chasing each other around.
Erin pointed to a table with a bunch of people waiting for us, some I couldn't really reconize because I'm kind of blind and can't see that far.
We walked up and I looked at everyone that was there..
Darren, Sam(antha) and James...
Teddy.
I barely reconized him, I hadn't seen him for about a year. We used to be really good friends. Me, him and Erin.
I also had the stupidest crush on him..which he probably knew about. But he had left for touring and never called or anything ever since, even though he promised he would.
That liar.
"Hey!" Erin had said while I was still staring at Teddy and he was staring at me. Erin stepped on my foot.
"Ow..Oh, uh, hey guys!" I said as I waved to all of them.
Erin gave Teddy a hug like he had never left and we were all still best friends. "So when did you get back?" she asked
"Oh..umm..yesterday..wait..last night? I think.." he answered slowly, he kept his eyes on me. GAH. Watching him makes me want to yell at him, and then puke.
"Want to go catch a movie, you guys?" Darren offered. We all shrugged, there was probably nothing better to do anyways and Sam had to leave in a little bit.
"That would be cool, right guys?" Erin asked as she gave me a 'talk to Teddy' glare. We nodded and walked off towards the theater on the other side of the mall.
Erin linked arms with Darren and they walked happily in front of us. Their names rhymed, they're both extremely random AND they were going out. Wow, what a perfect couple. I laughed.

We settled for watching some weird..horror movie. I was secretly dead afraid of horror movies.
We all sat in a group right in the middle of the theatre, and I was stuck sitting next to Teddy and sitting next to Erin.
The movie hadn't started yet so I got up to go get some food..and it was a perfect excuse to try and avoid Teddy.
"I'm going to go get some food." I told Erin quickly as I walked out of the theatre quickly.
I wanted to stay outside the whole time. Avoid the movie, avoid Teddy.

The movie wasn't all that scary, it was so fake, I tried not to laugh.
I could tell that Teddy was looking at me a lot. He probably knew I was scared of horror films.
I was sort of pissed at Erin for putting me through all of this and ignoring me the whole time during the movie to giggle with her boyfriend.
After the movie Sam had to go home and James offered to take her home. Which left Erin, Darren, Teddy, and I walking around the mall like lost children.
Erin and Darren were too busy holding hands and giggling to notice that I still exsisted. I walked behind them just thinking of things. Why was Teddy back now? A year later, when nothing else matters.
"Hey" Teddy said as he walked up to me. "So how's it been?"
"Since you left? I don't know. Great? Wonderful? Awesome? Sure."
I had a feeling I had just made Teddy a bit guilty. "I'm sorry..I'm really sorry.."
"For what? Lying to me? Telling me you'd call me, or write me..or email me?! But no doing so?" I was getting so upset and angry just thinking about it. "You lied Teddy. You lied.."
I could feel tears swelling up in my eyes. This is the stupidest thing to cry over, I told myself.
He stared down at the floor.
There were a couple days before Christmas and I still haven't gotten any gifts yet, so I decided to walk around and get some gifts while I was at it.
I walked up to Erin. "Hey..I'm just..going to go get some gifts, so, um, i'll meet up with you guys later.."
"Yeah sure, umm..I'll call you in like..half an hour.."
"Okay. Thanks." I said as I walked off, quickly, to the other side of the mall.
After 6 gifts, a Starbucks frap., and 40 minutes later, I felt my phone buzz in my jean pocket I looked at the caller ID..It was Teddy. I just picked it up "Hello?"
"Hey, It's Teddy..."
"Yeah, I have caller ID.." I answered, sort of obnoxiously..
"Oh, okay, well umm..."
I waited while there was a long pause of 'mmms' and 'hmms'
"Well...Erin asked me to call you, because she's kind of busy right now...and she asked if you wanted to meet up somewhere.."
"I have to go home.." I started to say
"Oh, then that's okay, i'll tell her..." Teddy mumbled, interrupting my sentance.
"I have to go home..to drop off my bags, and THEN I'll meet you guys up somewhere.."
"OH, okay then. 5 at Taco Bell near your house?"
"Mmkay. I'll see you there.."
Did I really want to see Teddy?

When I got home I stashed all the presents in my closet and I sat on my bed. Why was Teddy back. I had almost forgotten about him...he left me. Forgot about me, and now he was back.
I still had half an hour before I was supposed to be at Taco Bell, so I just sat on my bed and grabbed the newest copy of Seventeen I took from Erin yesterday and started reading.
"I didn't know you read girly magazines.." said a voice in the doorway, I voice I actually missed hearing. I looked up and saw Teddy standing there holding a white daisy.
"Now you know, then..." I said to him and kept reading.
"Well..I got you this.." he handed me the daisy "I wasn't sure if you still liked them..."
I took the daisy from his hand "Thanks, and yeah, I still like them." and he smiled
"I'm sorry I just kind of came in like that..your brother let me in..I hope it's okay.."
"It's okay, I don't really care." I continued reading.
"Okay then." I put down the magazine onto my bed and walked downstairs with Teddy following me. There was still 20 minutes before I had to go..
"Haylie, do you want to put up the tree and everything later?" asked my mom, she was dragging out a huge box from the garage.
"I don't know, I'm too lazy...ask Matt or something.." I groaned. "I'll help! Mrs. Lawson!" offered Teddy with a huge grin on his face.
"Oh, that would just be wonderful! Then, Haylie, you and Ted can decorate and put up the tree!"
"EEERRGGG...but that's so LAME, mom! And i'm out of creativity.." I groaned
My mom gave me a 'decorate the tree or no shopping' look. "Okay then..I'll ask Erin too.." I mumbled and walked into the kitchen.
On the table there was a huge box of Lemonheads. Gosh, I love those. I grabbed the box and went back upstairs to occupy myself with something for another 15 minutes.
I opened to box and started eating them. Teddy sat down next to me and grabbed a couple Lemonheads. "Hey! Those are mine!" He opened some and stuffed them into his mouth. "Still want them?" he smiled.
"Ew, noo! You're going to get sick from all of those you just stuffed down.." I warned and he smiled "Remember, when we got so dizzy and sick one summer, after eating boxes and boxes of those? The heat and Lemonheads aren't a good combination"
I remembered, It was last summer when we had earned some extra cash from watching my brother and his siblings and we spent it all on Lemonheads and sat in Teddy's backyard and ate them all.
I shrugged and glance at the clock. I still had 10 minutes. Teddy looked around my room "Nothing's really changed from here, except you don't have any more of those random pictures of all of us"
"I threw them all away." I lied, I had them in a Converse shoe box under my bed.
"Oh." his face saddened "We should take some more.."
"I'd rather not, by the time we take them, you'll be gone for another year.."
Teddy looked at the floor and kicked his feet around "Oh, I see you still write on your windows, remember when we would spend an afternoon writing secrets and things on your window?"
"Yeah, secrets...and other things..."
"I miss those times.." he mumbled.
I glanced at the clock again, finally time to go. I got up without a word, grabbed my hoodie and left.

"Want to come help me decorate tree and house later, Erin?" I asked as we all ate.
"Yeah sure, but Darren has to leave after Taco Bell and I have to leave at 7"
"Okay then,"
"Is Ted going?" asked Darren
"Yeah, I am" Teddy answered for me, and smiled.
"I don't even get why my mom decides to like decorate NOW, instead of like..before.." I mumbled and shrugged.
"My parents put up the tree the day after Thanksgiving" Darren laughed.
My brother and a bunch of his friends walked in.
Darren waved to Matt excitedly. Matt laughed and gave him a ghetto peace sign.
They ordered their food and sat at a table near us.

We decorated until 7, when Erin had to leave. My mom had offered Teddy to stay for dinner, but he said his mom was expecting him to be home.
After dinner I was sitting in my room. I had missed all those times with Teddy. I was still really angry at him though. I opened the curtains and looked outside, I could see a light coming from Teddy's room, but I didn't see him.
I picked up a red erasable pen and wrote on my window 'I still miss Teddy Geiger <3'. And then I closed to curtains and went to bed.
