OKAY!
So. The...uhh..'whatever' is revealed =O
But yeah, this is a pretty short chapter, but I think, if I waited to update, you all would kill me =] LOL
Chapter 5
I jumped around in my living room. Holding on to my cell like it was worth a million dollars.
My brother looked up at me after stabing some random guy in Grand Theft Auto. I smiled.
"You're weird."
I glared at him "Don't you have school in like..20 minutes?"
He went back to his game "Yeah, so? There's still time for stealing cars, there's ALWAYS time for stealing cars!...don't YOU have to go to school too?"
I laughed evily and ran around in circles "No way, there's no school for me today, REMEMBER?!"
"You suck."
I smiled "Haha!" I pointed at his face.
My phone FINALLY rang and I almost dropped it trying to flip it open.
"GEIGER!" I yelled
"LAWSON!" Teddy giggled like a little girl
"So. You're..back?"
"Yeap. You know what?"
I thought for a moment "Nooo..?"
"You owe me Starbucks" I could hear him smile
"....uhhh...yeah.." I laughed
"Are you busy right now?"
I stood still "Uh. No?"
"Want to go..to..Starbucks or something later?"
"Umm..when, later?"
He paused for a moment "Uhhh..maybe..1? I'll call you when I finish unpacking.."
"Fine" I smiled
"Okay then, I have to go now, but I'll see you later.."
"Mmkay, see you later.."
"Uhh..I......nevermind."

I tapped my fingers nervously on the table at Starbucks.
Teddy walked in holding a bag
I looked at him and then the bag. He sat down and laughed "So.."
I pushed his mocha frap towards him. He smiled "Thanks...and you still know I like this stuff.."
I shrugged and drank my green tea frap.
After a short moment in silence I finally thought of something to say
"How was the touring?" Geez, that was so lame.
Teddy smiled "Uhhh..extremely..intresting...lots of awesome fans, and a couple crazy ones.."
I laughed
"Umm..but..also during the touring..I was really busy.." Teddy turned pink and stared at the floor
I looked at him curiously "With what..?" and took another sip of my drink
Teddy kept his eyes towards the floor "..umm........thinking..of you.."
I almost spat out the green tea-ness that was in my mouth, my cheeks getting red.
Teddy grabbed something from inside his bag and place it on the table "Umm..I got that for you..at..some city we played in..." he mumbled and pushed it towards me.
It was a faded vintage-y gold chain necklace with a locket. I slowly picked it up with caution and opened the locket "Teddy <3s Haylie" was carved in the inside
"..Tedddyyyyy..."
he looked up at me and I saw hope in his eyes
"I'm..so sorry..uhh..I can't..just..cant." I placed his hand on the table and placed the necklace in his palm. "I should..go now.."
I walked out, leaving my drink behind, and my jacket behind.

I stuffed another cookie in my mouth.
"I don't get you!" Erin told me. I've been on the phone with her since I got back from Starbucks, some three hours ago
"Just...get over it, okay?"
"NO! This is so stupid. You are so stupid!"
"Okay, you know what? Just. leave me alone, as if I don't have enough to worry about!" and just like that, I hung up on her.
I really wanted to cry, but I just couldn't.
My brother poped his head into my room "Hey.."
I smiled, "What do you want?"
He half-laughed "I sort of wanted to show you something.." he walked into my room carrying a huge poster. He turned it the other way so I couldn't see what it was.
I stared at him, confused.
He turned the poster over and showed me. It took me a while for it to soak in.
It was a light pink poster, the title was 'Who I admire most..'. I laughed, "Did you do Hilary Duff?"
He shook his head "No. You."
I got even more confused.
He started reading his poster to me "The person that I admire most is my sister, Haylie. She's stronger than anyone I know. You see, we found out about half a year ago, that she had Leukemia.
Leukemia is a type of blood cancer that affects your bone marrow, where unhealthy blood cells crowd out healthy cells. And when there are too many unhealthy blood cells, it can cause damage to other organs, and eventually, kill you."
I felt tears coming on as I saw my brothers eyes getting red.
"My sister, might die any day. But she lives like there's no tomorrow. I often ask her if she's ever scared of dying..." He paused to hold in his tears, "She always tells me that everyone is scared of dying, but death is death, you can't escape or cheat death."
I bit my lip and closed my eyes.
"She's the strongest person that I know, and I love her to death."
I tried to control my tears "Thank you, Matt.."
my brother walked towards me and I gave him a big hug "I want you to live forever with me.." he whispered

that was so beautiful and sad.
although sometimes it takes me awhile to read your fics because of their structure, i absolutely adore your humor and style. keep it up.

Sorry about the structure, I type it out on Notepad and I guess it messes up the lining of everything, if that's what you mean. But other than that, i'll space it out some more, since I think all the words seem pretty close together. Anything else I can improve on? =] Anyways, thanks for the critisism/comment =D |

no no don't worry about it. i'm totally weird about punctuation like actually obsessively weird so just ignore me. that was definitely way way more praise than criticism. it made me laugh and it made me sad. not a lot of writing does that. thank you  |

Yeah, so none of that was the whatever I thought it would be.
Like seriously, I thought Teddy would forget about her and just find some other girl since she was being so weird... Yeah...
