Matte the Vj that was asking him these questions started talking about the cd, whether if somebody had given him the choice would he do acting or singing and he said music, they talked about how he went to an all guys school and this fan called him and asked for the math homework and he said I go to an all guys school your probably not even in my class and she hung up on him,then they started talking about the cd asked him questions in a minute and asked how the kiss in the video with Kristen was like and that's about pretty much it. he was only on for about 10 to 15 minsutes. but it was pretty good though here is the whole interveiew curtisy of much music COUPLA QUESTIONS: TEDDY GEIGER

Teddy Geiger's debut album, "Underage Thinking", isn't even out yet (fans can pick it up on March 21!), but he's already had a recurring TV role as a budding songwriter on CBS's Love Monkey, penned the show's theme song, and his first single "For You I Will (Confidence)" is one of the most downloaded songs on iTunes! The 17-year-old up-'n-comer stopped by MOD for a one-on-one with Matte, but before that, he chatted with us about acting, making a video and getting used to fame.
MuchMusic.com: In an episode of Love Monkey you recorded character Wayne's debut video. What was it like to shoot your first video in real life?

»Launch! Teddy: The funny thing is actually, the day we finished shooting the fake video for the show, literally that day, as soon as we were done shooting, I had to rush out to the airport and fly to LA for my new video. And when we landed I looked down at my guitar there was actually a huge crack down the side of it. So if you look in the video there’s a black line down the side of my guitar where the crack was. But besides the crack in my guitar, it was a lot of fun shooting it over two days.
MuchMusic.com: You and your character Wayne went through a lot of similar milestones at around the same time – how different are you to the character that you played?
Teddy: Well, he was signed to an indie label, whereas I’m signed to Columbia, which is a major label, that’s a difference. His first album is acoustic – oh wait, I came out with an acoustic EP. So there’s actually a lot more similarities than differences, especially since I played him as myself. I'm kinda like Wayne.
MuchMusic.com: Fans didn’t get to see what happened to Wayne in the end [Love Monkey was cancelled after 3 episodes]. Can you fill us in?
Teddy: In my last episode, Wayne’s album gets released and he gets to really start to feel the fame. I’m not quite there right now. I’ve been recognized a couple times on the street. That’s kinda cool, to see that happen!
MuchMusic.com: Do you consider yourself an actor or a musician first?
Teddy: I’m definitely more of a musician. Acting was really cool – to learn about the whole film side of everything and see what that’s about. But music is definitely my main thing. I’m still open to doing acting if the opportunity comes up, but I feel like music is what I’m here to do.
MuchMusic.com: You mentioned in another interview that Ben Folds is one of your favourite musicians. You both starred in the same episode of Love Monkey, but not at the same time. Have you been able to meet him since?
Teddy: No I haven’t! Actually I went to one of his shows and we got the number of his tour manager, and we were gonna call him to try and meet up for a quick second after the show and stuff got crazy and it didn’t end up working out. He’s been the one elusive artist that I haven’t been able to meet! But I opened up for Gavin DeGraw, so I got to meet him, and I met John Mayer - they both seemed really cool.
MuchMusic.com: A lot of people have actually compared you to John Mayer – is he someone you can relate to, or admire?
Teddy: He’s definitely one, and of course Ben Folds. Lately I’ve been loving Coldplay and Weezer too.
MuchMusic.com: Your full name is very formal – John Theodore Geiger II - how did you become Teddy?
Teddy: My mom kinda wanted to call me Teddy from the start, ever since I was born, and my dad hated it, but he ended up having to go with it. I guess my mom had rights on what my parents were going to nickname me! I got called teddy bear but that never stuck because it was too obvious, I guess!
MuchMusic.com: What’s been the most surreal moment for you?
Teddy: A lot of stuff has been surreal. I guess just everything seems very surreal. I feel like that’s what helps keep me from freaking out about stuff – the fact that it is so surreal. It’s so unreal, that it doesn’t even feel real!
