i was probably the only person from this board who was at this show.
so, i got there too late for the preshow thing. kindaaa disappointed, but i survived because i went to the backstage tavern restaurant and ate a sundae and got in 15 minutes early from there. i was up front, but now that he's touring with a full piano my view was kinda blocked.
anyways, william tell was the opener. he's very very good. he was the guitarist of something corporate, so i was familiar with who he was, but i had never heard much of his solo stuff before. he covered johnny cash's burning ring of fire and it was hilarious. his band had never played that song with him so he just told them to follow along and started. here are some pictures of him:
teddy next, obviously. i really wonder, does he ever get sick of people saying "you're so hot" to him? it annoys me because people yell it every chance they get between songs. but anyways, i'm pretty sure he plays the same songs for everyone, so there's not much point in going over that. he was sick. i felt bad for him, he was making sniffly faces. oh, the venue he was playing holds 1500 people and he had it filled up pretty well, so i was impressed. i was really excited that he played brand new colony. he stopped a few seconds after he started and decided he needed to tune. he didn't forget any lyrics.
so now, i have seen him three times. i haven't met him, but that's kinda my bad because i never feel like joining the herd of people surrounding his bus. they scare me, so i can only imagine how it makes him feel.
anyways, here are some pictures and a video:

i should probably mention, my friend took all these pictures, not me.
