The Lion King will be closing on broadway in 2006 to make room for Mary Poppins to come to the NYC stage. Mary Poppins will take the Lion King's Place at the New Amsterdam theatre and is expected to open in the fall of 2006

I saw the Lion King two years ago for my birthday. It was really good. But, Mary Poppins sounds like it may do well.

they prolly have those clear bungee cords that you dont see and have her come from the upper corner of the stage. i dont think they can do the very first thing when you actually see her in the sky for a lil while

Jeni, have you made any of the shows that you've auditioned for?

I made one back in high school... it was a tour... but you can't go on tour without a parent if you're under 18... and neither of my parents could take that much time off their job...
I've made it through several rounds of call backs to several others... but it's a hard business... and I'm not exactly the ideal body type
