I have only been to New York City once (due to the fact that I prefer Toronto and their theaters) and the only celebrity I ran into was the writer and star of "Avenue Q" after I had just finished seeing Phantom for the first time. He was a REALLY nice guy and I got to talk with him a bit and shake his hand. It made me want to see the show, it is one of the few musicals I haven't seen. I swear you wouldn't believe how many I have seen, though I don't try and see things multiple times because it can seem like a waste of money. I save up to see if I can see EVERY musical and play once. Once is always enough.

AWE!! You must make it a point to see Avenue Q... it's AMAZING!! My friends and I are actually planning on trying to get tickets in the wednesday matinee lottery next wednesday... It'll be my third time seeing "Q"
I was spoiled for a few years of my life... while I was auditioning for shows in NY I would always just go up and get student tickets... so I've seen FAR too many to count... I think that's why I'm back to seeing things again (as in more than once)...
