Teddy Geiger has always been cute. Even when we were in middle school and everyone called him a dork he will always be cute in my eyes. The sad thing is I have always been his best friend. That is what I fear will never change.....

I woke up to the phone ringing "Im not answering it!!" I yelled to anyone who was home.
"Chloe it's for you!" My mom yelled up the stairs. d**n it!
"Hello?" I answered still half asleep.
"Rise and shine!!" Teddy said in an annoyingly peppy voice.
"What do you want?!" I yelled
"Geez! Why do you automactly asume I want something? Cant I just wish a friend good morning?" He laughed.
"Spill it Geiger." I said looking at my clock. It was 9:30am.
"Ok. Ok. I need a ride to the mall. My skateboard broke and I really need a new one....like now.
"Teddy, I was sleeping. I sighed.
"Pretty please?" Teddy begged. I knew he was using the puppy dog face.
"Fine! I cant say no to you." I said pulling off my covers. "I'll be there in 20 minutes."
"Yay! see you soon." He hung up.
"I need to change my mumber." I sighed getting out of bed.

so..... i said while teddy messed with the radio. when are you ever going to learn to drive i mean youre going to be 17 soon dont you think its time to get over your fear?
teddy had an awful fear of being behind the wheel he's ahd it ever since we were 13 and we watched the film "Safe Drivers of America." The crashes didn't sit to well with him.
"Come on that's not fair," he said leaning back into his seat. "That's like asking you to get over your fear of the dark." He had me there. "Speaking of Birthdays," Teddy said with a big smile on his face. "How's it feel to be turing the big 1-8 in 3 days?" "Ewww! I don't even want to think about it! Imagine me...an adult!" I said as I turned into the parking lot. "I shudder to think," Teddy giggled. I slappped his arm. Teddy and I were born 1 year and 2 weeks apart. His mom and my mom have been best friends since high school. They wanted to have kids the same age but things just didn't work out that way. That's why Teddy's mom put him in kindergarden 1 year early so that we would be in the same grade. Mothers are funny that way. We walked through the front doors. "Ok Geiger get the skateboard and let's go," I said putting my keys in my purse. "It's not that easy Macon," He said shaking his head. "It has to be perfect in every way. Perfection takes forever to find." I was in for one hell of a wait.

"Teddy, you looked like a kid in a candy store." I laughed as he pulled his new skate board out of the trunk of my car, and carried it into the house. "Thanks for taking me, by the way." he said laying it on the couch. "I knew you were sleeping and everything." "No problem." I laughed.
I always have time for you." "Have I told you how much I love you?" Teddy said putting his arm around my shoulder.
"It's only because I take you places, admit it." I said.
"Oh yeah, totaly. the 15 years we've spent together before you got your licsence ment nothing." He laughed. "I knew it!" I giggled. "Yes! it was all a lie! All of it. Ahh! I'm buzzing!" Teddy laughed as he pulled his cell phone out of his pocket. "Who is it?" I asked, trying to look over his shoulder. Teddy grunted. "Oh." I understood. "It's her. Why is she calling?" "I don't know." Teddy frowned. "I thought things were over, but she keeps calling me, saying she's sorry. Just when I'm over her, she pulls me right back in..." Teddy began mumbling, and started to pace back and forth. He tended to do this, when he was upset. "ted she cheated on you, and broke your heart. she doesn't deserve you." Teddys eye's grew wide.
"Oh no." I laughed. "I know that look." "Studio!" We both said at the same time.
