AH. I tried to update last night but my internet got retarded so I couldn't go on here!
But here it is!





I looked at the time on my laptop quickly, I had been working on my Fashion Week report for over 7 hours, and I was only half-way done. Great.

"Knock, knock" Someone at the doorway giggled.
I looked up and smiled at my co-worker, Kourtni. She handed me a fresh cup of Starbucks and sat down in front of me.

"Thanks," I laughed and continued typing.

"So how's it going?" She took a sip from her cup

I smiled and kept my eyes on the screen, "It's really tiring, but not so bad, and it doesn't even feel like i've wasted 7 hours actually.."

She laughed and tapped my desk lightly "Almost done?"

I shook my head "Naw, half way?"
Someone standing at the door knocked, we both looked up and I smiled.

Louis walking in holding take-out and took the seat next to Kourtni. "Hey guys!" he laughed.
I nodded and Kourtni waved.

After a quick moment of silence Kourtni stood up and smoothed out her skirt "I'll leave you guys alone" she giggled and skipped out.

"Hungry?"
I smiled and kept my eyes glued to the screen "No, not really.."

After another moment of me and my typing I sighed and placed my head on the keyboard.

Louis walked over and stroked my back "Aww, Haylie! You're working so hard!"

I looked up at him and he gave me a kiss on my forehead.

"Thanks" I laughed and got back to working on my report.
Was this ever going to be a long night.

I smiled one last time at Debbie, my manager before running out of her office. I had finally submitted my report in, and her office gave me the chills.
Don't get me wrong, Debbie was a really..nice..person, she's sort of up-tight a lot of the time, but other than that, she's not so bad.

I pulled out my phone and punched in Louis' number.
"GUESS WHAT?!" I giggled

"...Umm..you burned your office."

I rolled my eyes "No."

"Okay then..you...threw your co-workers dog out the window.."

"Umm..no!"

"Darn, I never liked that thing after it peed on my shoe."

I smiled "Okay, well..you give up?"

"Uhh..alright."

"Okay, i'm finished my report and i'm freee! Well, for two weeks, anyways."

I could hear him smile on the other side of the line "Let's go somewhere!"

"I want to go home."

"Rochester?!"

I nodded "Yeah.."

"Well, I was thinking somewhere else..but, it doesn't matter..as long as i'm with you.."

I blushed "Okay, so..Rochester?"

"Sure!"

"-Can I ask you why you want to go?"

"Umm..it's my dad's birthday soon, and I want to go see him?"

"Oh, you never told me, then we should get him a gift then."

"Uhh..yeah."

"Alright, then."

"Okay, bye!"


I kept repeating to myself that we're going back to visit family, but you and I both know it's much MUCH more than that.

We were an hour away from Rochester, and I had the worst butterflies in my stomach.
Maybe it was because I hadn't been back since..forever. Or maybe it was seeing people that were really important to me.

"I can't wait to meet your family!" giggled Louis

I rolled my eyes "It's not a big deal, well, you'll also have to meet my evil step sisters.."

He laughed "Like, as in Cinderella?"

I nodded "Yeah, except, I don't live in the attic with mice.."

"But you have a prince charming.."

I laughed "Sure. But you don't have a horse!"

Louis gave me a smirk "Who says I don't?"

I stared at him in shock "You have a horse?!"

He shrugged "A few..on my dad's ranch in Houston.."

I sat back down properly and crossed my legs "Interesting.."

He leaned over and kissed me "Yep."

Louis grabbed the last bag from my mom's van and placed it down. "Haylie.." he hissed

I looked over and smiled "Hm?"

"There's some kid watching us from your window..he looks scary.."

I smiled "Is he really stupid looking?"

Louis casually turned around and took a quick look and turned back to face me "Yeah,"

I started giggling "That's Matt. My...brother.."

Louis turned pink and blushed "I'm..sorry about that..I didn't mean he was..like..stupid..but like.."

I placed my finger on his lip "That's alright, I call him stupid all the time.."

He smiled and helped my with some bags.



Once we almost reached the door, it swung open, and guess who was standing right there...


Matt.


"Hey, kid." I laughed as he playfully pushed me aside.

"Who's this?" he glared at Louis.

Louis was still pink from before but managed to smile. "Hi! I'm...Louis.." he looked over at me for a moment and I nodded

"Yeah, Matt, Louis. Louis, this is my..brother, Matt. And Matt, this is my boyfriend, Louis!

Matt stared at me for a moment "Dude, it's still weird that the word..'boyfriend' doesn't come before 'Teddy'.."

I rolled my eyes and punched him "Shut up."

He quickly punched me back and ran upstairs.



"Sorry..about my brother..he's...stupid sometimes.." I thought for a moment "Wait- no, most of the time."

He smiled and gave me a hug "Your brother is..pretty..entertaining.."

"Anyways.." I grabbed Louis' hand and led him upstairs to my old room.



"My room!" I danced around, I stopped and took a moment to look at everything.

My magazines were still in the same corner, but I noticed a few new additions to it.

My window still had faded marker written on it, I walked over and glared at my window.

There was something written on it, that I didn't remember writing or seeing before I left. It was sort of faded from the sunlight, but I looked closer and tried to read it.

'I LOVE YOUUUU! - Ted'

I smiled and quickly rubbed it off before Louis noticed it.



"Your room is pretty crazy Hay.."

I nodded "Yeah, a lot of memories here.."

Louis walked over to my desk and picked up a poloroid picture. "Teddy?"

I looked at it, it was a picture of me and Teddy at my dad's wedding. I had never seen the picture before, I took it from Louis and flipped it over 'Memories of a lifetime. Ted + Haylie.'

I shrugged and placed it back down "I think..my friend took that..at my dad's wedding..um..yeah."



"DINNER!" my brother screamed at the doorway.

"Alright!" I laughed and pulled Louis down with me.

"You..are..."

"I am what?" I smiled at Erin.

She glanced over at Louis and turned back towards me "VERY LUCKY!"

I looked over at Louis and realized that he was now blushing, aw!


"Well, change of topic, when are you guys getting married?"

Erin and Jason both look at me with confused faces and shrugged "Dunno" they said in unison.

I nodded, and looked at the clock. Yeah, I was 19, but my mom still wanted me to be home no later..than..1 am.
Louis who was sitting in the corner started rubbing his eyes, and I knew we should probably start leaving.


"Anyways, I think..Louis and I need to be going..I'm really tired. But it was fun hanging out again after so long."

Erin raised her hand "Dinner tomorrow? Or brunch?"

I shrugged and looked at Louis, who shrugged as well "Let's do brunch..and maybe dinner if we don't have any plans.."

"Alright" Erin stood up and walked us to the door.

"Best friends for life!" I giggled against her ear as we hugged

"Teddy too!" Erin whispered.

I had suddenly gotten goosebumps the moment she whispered his name.

"LOUIS!" I screamed outside the guest room door, my brother walked past and rolled his eyes, being the incredibly smart person that I am, I stuck my tongue out at him.

He opened the door with his hair covering his face wearing his boxers and an AE tee.

"You look really nice today" I giggled and pushed his hair away from his face.

"Well, you do too!" He moved in towards me and gave me a kiss on the lips.

"Anyways, care to come to Starbucks with me?"

"Okay, give me 10 minutes?"

"Alright"



That moment was a fast-paced blur.

First the Starbucks guy placed my drink on the table,

Second I walked over a grabbed it,

Then I walked right into the person I had missed so much.


Teddy Geiger.


Anyways, back to reality.

"I missed you so much!" I laughed as Teddy as he kept his arms wrapped around me

"Well, I can't belive that you're here!" laughed Teddy as he finally let go.

I grabbed Teddy's hand and led him over to Louis.

"LOUIS!" I squealed "This is.."

"Teddy Geiger! Wow!" Louis got up and shook Teddy's hand.

Teddy blushed and kicked his feet around. "Hey..nice to meet you.."

"Um..and Ted, this is..Louis.." I bit my lip for a second "and he's my boyfriend.."

The look on Teddy's face went from incredibly happy to sort of..confused and dissapointed. So much for that.


"Um..anyways!" I started trying to break the silence "Teddy, are you busy today? If not, you should come join us for brunch!"

Teddy smiled and scratched his head "Umm..naw, i'm not busy..are you sure it's okay? I mean, I don't want me to go and whoever is going will be like 'Oh why is HE here?' and like.."

I laughed and shook my head "No, it's just us. Me, Louis, Erin, Jason. That's all, okay?"

Teddy nodded and Louis grabbed my hand "Yeah, it'll be fun! And..maybe we should be leaving now?"

I nodded "Yeah, I think we should go now...Did you drive your own car, Ted?"

"Naw, my mom dropped me off.."

"Alright! Then you can follow us!"

"That'll be nice.."


"So..what is this place called?" Louis laughed

It was sort of weird seeing Teddy again, I looked in the rearview mirror at Teddy sitting in the back playing with his Ipod and playing the air guitar.
Aw, I missed him so much, but we're all on good terms, right?

"Haylie!" Louis sang

"Whaaat?"

"What's the place called?"

"Oh um..wait-oh gosh, I don't remember..here i'll call Erin.."

"I can do it!" Teddy called out and raised his hand

I looked behind my chair at him "Thanks.." I whispered


"ERIN! WHERE'S THE PLACE WE'RE EATING AT?!"
"Oh, okay. See ya"

"It's right at this corner" Teddy pointed to the right.
"Thanks.." Louis laughed


I noticed two girls at the table across from us giggling and pointing at us. "Louis!" I hissed under my breath.

"Hmm?"

"You just got some new fans.."

Louis turned bright red "May-maybe..they like..Teddy?!"

Teddy looked at us, his bright blue eyes catching the sunlight "Whaaaattt?!"

"Maybe they like you, maybe they like Teddy..." I shrugged

Teddy shook his head "No way, they totally love you, man!"

I smiled and crossed my arms "Told you...but you know what..maybe I should go over there and ask them!"

Louis stared at me with his eyes wide open "If you do, i'm going to..get you back!"

I rolled my eyes "I'm soo sure..." I turned around facing the two girls and waved to them.


They stared at me for a moment and pretended nothing happened.
"Boo, that's no fun.." I mumbled as Louis smiled and high fived Teddy.

"I hate that you're leaving.." I mumbled and kicked my bed.

Louis smiled "Hay, it's like..three days. And..it's like..a couple hours away..New York city isn't that far away.."

I crossed my arms and glared at him "Fine."

"You'll be fine!"
