uh oh. Totally forgot about updating this. AH, I haven't had much time lately..but I think..I might be able to get a chapter up..within an hour =]]

Yaaay. Luckily I started on this part a while ago. so yeah, the next part will be much MUCH more interesting! =]]









"So what did you tell her" Teddy whispered in my ear.

I smoothed out my jeans and smiled "Umm..that..we're just going to go out for dinner..and then the movies.."

He nodded "Fun! Wait..we're going too?!"

I rolled my eyes "No, i'm going to tell Erin to go to dinner herself, of course we're going! Well.. I am..you don't have to.."

He sighed and looked around while I folded my arms and glared at him.

After a moment I threw my hands into the air "Fine. I'll go myself, it doesn't matter.."

I didn't give Teddy another moment and I stomped upstairs to my room.

Once I sat down on my bed my phone started beeping, I sighed. It was probably Darren, for the last week, he's been texting me every possible hour.

I took my phone and read it "Busy?"

I rolled my eyes and pressed the keypad with force "YES!"

"With what?"

"Being mad at Teddy.."

"Then, that should be a better reason for us to hang out.."

I rolled my eyes and ignored the message.

I looked up at the doorway and noticed that there was a shadow near the doorway, I rolled my eyes.

"Teddddyyyy!"

He slowly walked in, blushing and scratching his head. He sat down next to me and kissed me "Sorry.."

I kissed him back "Oh well, i'm over it.."

"You'll get over it.." he sang.

I smiled. "What time is it?"

He shrugged "2:30.."

I nodded and lay down on my bed, Teddy lay down next to me and kissed me on the neck. I squirmed.

"What time is dinner with Erin?"

"Uhh..we're meeting at her house at 5:30.."

He grabbed my hand and squeezed it. "Okay, I'll come too."

I smiled "Mmmkay."





It was almost 5:30 and I wasn't even dressed yet, I was still in my jeans from earlier this morning.

I quickly ran into my room and pulled out random clothes from inside my closet.

I ran into my washroom and checked my reflection. I smoothed out my cami under my cardigan and pulled peices of hair away from my face.

I walked into the kitchen and Teddy was sitting on the counter with a cookie in his hand. I looked at the clock and it was 5:27.

I grabbed the cookie from his hand and took a bite of it. He glared at me and I tried not to laugh.

I shrugged and grabbed my coat from the couch and walked outside.

For a summer's night it was really weirdly cold. I watched as Teddy slowly made his way outside and smiled at me.



"Do you want to walk two blocks? Or take the car?"

Teddy shrugged and laughed "Uhh..let's walk.."

I nodded and reached for his hand.



Walking to Erin's house was weirdly peaceful, it was still extremely bright outside, it was also sort of cold, but holding onto Teddy's hand made me feel warmer.

"What's your dream house?" Teddy asked me.

I smiled, every person probably had their own "dream house" they made up in their minds. When I was younger..I wished that I could actually become like Barbie. She was glamourous and had the coolest dresses and houses.

"I don't know..well..I do..but..it's in my mind and I don't really know how to explain it..it would be amazing to live in Hawaii though..never been there..but..it seems really pretty.."

Teddy nodded "Well..mine would be like..big, like..so big..I have my own island for the house..or mansion.."

"Keep on dreaming.."

"It'll happen..one day..actually..erm, no..it probably won't..but...it'll happen in my mind."

I laughed "Well then..you'd have to tell me all about it from your memory.."

He shook his head "Noo..you should know, since you'll be there too, and every morning..I'd wake up and kiss you on the forehead.."

I smiled "You don't have to do that in your imagination.."

Teddy shrugged and squeezed my hand "You're right.."

We walked for a little bit in silence.

"How do you want our wedding to be like?"

I jumped "It's gotta be PIMP!" I gasped and covered my mouth "I mean..really..nice.."

Teddy nodded and tried not to laugh at me.

"I've always wondered what it would be like..to get married in Vegas..you know like..those famous 10 minute ceremony thingys..yeah.."

"Do you want to get married in Vegas?"

I shook my head "Nooo..I wonder. But I don't want to know..but I want to have a small wedding..I mean it'd be fun to have a lot of people..but I dunno..it's easier for smaller ones..but I don't really mind.."

Teddy slowly nodded "Let's have a small wedding, then, I won't get AS nervous!"

I laughed "Yeah..and I should wear jeans.."

Teddy glared at me and I smiled "Kidding!"



I rang the doorbell to Erin's house just as she opened the door. She pointed towards her car as she ran back inside to grab something.

We sat in her car in silence while Teddy whistled randomly.

Erin finally came back and started the car.

"You guys didn't have to invite me, i'm fine, really!"

I sighed "Erin, Erin, Erin. Obviously, it'd be more fun if you go too!"

Teddy nodded and laughed "Yeah, it will be a ton of fun!"

Erin sighed and shook her head. We pulled into the restaurant parking lot and I automatically noticed Jason's bright blue convertible.



We got out of the car and I skipped into the resturant while Teddy was laughing his head off at me.

We walked in and I automatically noticed that a section was sealed off from the rest of the public.

We walked into that special section and I noticed that it was filled with flowers and Jason sitting alone in the middle of it all.



Teddy was the first one to sit down, then Erin and I.

Erin gave me an uneasy look once we sat down and mouthed 'Why is he here?'

I shrugged and smiled.



The dinner was extremely quiet and tense. Between me and Teddy's attempt to create some conversation, there wasn't much being said between Erin and Jason.

We were waiting for the desserts to come when Erin stood up.

"I'm going home."

I stared at her "Why?!"

She shrugged "I'm tired and I really don't feel like doing anything else right now.."

I sighed and let her leave.

Jason looked at me and then at Teddy. "I'll be right back.."

Jason got up and followed Erin out.



I covered my head and sighed. My phone started buzzing, and I checked the caller ID, Erin.

"Oh boy, what's up?"

I could hear her breathe heavily "You. Are. The. Worst. Friend. EVER!"

I bit my lip "Sorry, I mean, I probably should have told you.."

She suddenly started giggling "Actually, I was kidding, I love you!"

I glared at Teddy who looked at me confused. "Umm..okay?"

"Well, thanks for tonight, though it was sort of akward, but..fun!"

"Wait, where are you guys?!"

"Uhh..a couple blocks away..don't bother to find us, you guys are sooo boring!"

I looked at Teddy and grinned. "Alright, I'll talk to you tonight.."

"Okay, bye!"


I closed my phone and sighed.

"What?" Teddy started shaking me and I giggled.

"Bingo."

"Bingo?!"

"They're together, well, hanging out, anyways."

"Cool!"

"And they said we were boring.."

Teddy stared at me with a shocked face. "US?! BORING?!"

I laughed "Apparently.."

He started tickling me "I think not..now let's get this bill paid and go home."

I rolled my eyes "See?! You are boring, home?! It's Friday night!"

Teddy stratched his head "Umm..okay..Friday..night..? Well, how about this, tonight, we go home, and sleep, and tomorrow, we'll go do something fun..since i'm really tired from all the touring.."

I smiled "Sure. But can we go for ice cream, first?"

Teddy crossed his arms "No!"

I stared at him with my mouth hanging open. "NO?!"

"Yes."

"YES?!"

"No."

I glared at Teddy and he started laughing and grabbed my hand "C'mon, let's go get us some ice creaaammm!"

Teddy kept a blindfold over my eyes for the past 20 minutes and soon he led me somewhere inside. I wasn't sure where though.

He finally pulled them off. I looked around and saw wedding gowns in every direction. I gasped and Teddy kissed me on the cheek.





For the past three hours, we sat in the store with Erin and Jason, choosing dresses and gowns for the wedding.

Obviously, the guys were done in about 20 minutes but it was much harder choosing for me.

I really wanted a bright pink dress, but, as the main wedding gown? No.

It was really between a white strapless dress with a bow in the front and a lace trim with pearls or a white dress with a satin layer ontop and lace trimming and a bow on the side.

I finally choose the white dress with the satin layer and lace and a light pinkish peach dress with sparkles on the bottom and a dark purple lace bow.

While we were paying for the dresses, Teddy's phone started to ring.

Teddy walked aside to answer it.



"So when is your wedding date?" The lady at the counter asked me.

"Umm..March..21st.."

"Oh! That's wonderful! So when might you guys need these outfits for?"

I thought about it "Hold on, I'll go ask Ted.."

I walked over to Teddy who was sitting on the couch from behind.



"I can't! I'm getting married!"

I stopped in my tracks.

"No, but, I can't go on tour for a year!"

"Well, I mean, maybe for like a couple shows..but I can't tour the whole year."

"Okay, well, if I'm going to lose my record deal because I'm not going to tour then, whatever, fine!"



I sighed and walked back to the counter.

I shook my head at the lady "We're not really sure..maybe..like..a couple days before?"

She nodded and typed in a date.

Teddy walked back towards us and hugged me.

I smiled but I felt horrible in the inside.

I sat in my grandfather's living room flipping through the pages of his old photo album.

There were gorgeous olden day pictures of him and my grandmother, they looked so happy together and I wish she could have lived longer.

He placed down a cup of tea and sat down across from me.

I looked up and stared into his eyes "Do you ever wish that grandma never passed?"

My grandfather smiled a bit "Sometimes. But everything happens for a reason, dear."

"Isn't it so hard? To wake up every morning and realize that she's not..here?"

He nodded "But if you truly love something, you can set it free."

I nodded "And if it really belongs to you it'll come back and if it doesn't, then, well, then it doesn't belong to you.."

He nodded and smiled.

I closed the photo album and laid it on the table. "Thanks grandpa, I think I know what to do?"

He laughed "What are you talking about?!"

I laughed "Nothing..."

"Well then, drink your tea before it gets cold!"

I sat on my bed and counted how many more minutes until Teddy was supposed to show up.

I twisted the ring around my finger and tried to remember what I was going to tell him.

I lay down and shut my eyes. What seemed like a minute later the door bell rang, I ran downstairs to get it, it was Teddy.

He smiled at me, he was wearing these bright silver converse shoes which blinded me for a moment.

I grabbed his hand and led him onto the sidewalk.



We sat down on our usual spot in the park on our favourite bench, where everything magical seemed to happen.

Teddy kissed me before I could say anything.

I looked at him and tried not to start sobbing.

"Teddy..I think..I should probably tell you something?"

Teddy looked and me and laughed "Alright."

I bit my lip for a moment and considered taking everything in my mind back. No. "You need to go on tour."

He stared and me and smiled "No, i'm fine."

I grabbed his hand "No, you HAVE to go on tour."

"But we're getting married, Hay.."

I shook my head "No, you're touring, if you don't tour you'll be done. Done from recording and performing and touring, everything!"

He shrugged "So?"

"No, you don't get it. This has been a dream of yours ever since we met, like 50 million years ago, and I can't let me get in your way."

I could see Teddy's eyes starting to get red, I tightened my grip on his hand. "Teddy, I don't think we should get married, you living your dream is more important, i'm just..there. Please, please, go tour?"

"But touring can wait,"

"Dreams not wait for you.." I sighed "..But I will. I'll always be your best friend, and your biggest fan. But probably..never your wife, or anything.." I tried to smile.

"But I love you so much, Haylie!"

I nodded "I love you too, but, well, you're touring, or i'm never talking to you again." What a childish threat, I thought

He nodded and kissed me. I pulled off my ring and placed it in Teddy's palms.

I hugged him for what seemed like the millionth time. "I'm going to miss you, Ted.."

He nodded "I'm going to miss you more!"

I shook my head "No way. But I'll just see you.."

"When I get back" he finished for me.

"Which will be.."

He shrugged "Maybe..a year, I think a little bit less, but who knows.."

I bit my lip "That's a long time.."



"Ted!" his mom called out.

I pulled away from him "Sorry..you better go.."

He nodded akwardly "I'll see you.."

"Soon." I laughed.

He laughed and grabbed his bag from the floor.

I helped him load a few left-over things into the van before he got in.

He gave me a smile and I gave him the thumbs up sign.

In a quick moment his van started to move. Once his van turned the corner and dissapered our of sight. I felt my face started to burn and tears filled my eyes.




ANNDD YEAH! I THINK I'LL START A SEQUEL SOON =] HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE IT!!!
I think..the seqeul will be called 'This is how I dissapear' but..i'm still unsure, check back soon for more updates!
