^ ahah, yeah, this one girl that I sort of know..was dating this guy..and he cheated on her..with her two best friends at the same time. It's pretty crazy and there's so much drama around that. =S

I sat in Teddy's basement and pressed random keys on the keyboard. Thoughts were running through my mind. I had to tell Erin, but what if she ended up hating me? But I can't hurt her even more and don't tell her. She still likes Darren but he likes me.

A pair of hands suddenly blocked my vision. I laughed "Hi Teddy.."

He let go of his hands and sat down next to me. "How are you?"

I shrugged "Don't know.." I thought about telling him about what Darren had told me a while earlier.

I bit my lip and kept my mouth closed.

He grabbed my hand and held it tight "C'mon, it's dinner time!"

I laughed and followed him upstairs.




I lay down on Teddy's bed and covered my face with his pillow. Teddy lay down beside me and giggled.

"What do you think about..September 16th of next year?"

I shrugged "What for?"

"Getting married.."

I thought for a moment. Ever since almost half a year ago, when we got engaged we hadn't really talked about the whole marriage date and everything. I don't know, I was waiting for my mom to get everything set up for me, but obviously she wasn't going to be my wedding planner.

I finally shrugged "I don't mind..but..wouldn't it be more fun to have it on a diffrent day, just so there are more day for us to celebrate? And I sort of wanted it..in the summer.."

"--I mean, I don't really mind, you can choose.." I quickly added "But I sort of want it in the summer..or maybe the winter, but not the fall, because that's sort of boring but then again, it might be cool and not so cliche, but I don't know, it's really up to you and yeah.."

Teddy sighed and moved the pillow away from my face "Is everything alright?"

I nodded "Yeah..just.." I pointed to my head "I've been thinking..a lot.."

"About what?"

I shrugged "Random things. Tacos, Hippos, Rainbows, things like that.."

He laughed and kissed me

"And Darren.." I thought in my head.

"Anything else on your mind?"

I shook my head "Naw.."

He glared at me "I don't think I believe you..you only ramble like the when you're nervous or really unsure of something.."

I shrugged "I'm just..really..really tired.."

He smiled "Want me to take you home?"

I smiled "I'm too lazy to move..."

"Well then, you can just lay on my bed tonight, i'm going to go get some candy or something, be right back..don't move!"

"I won't" I laughed.

Once Teddy left the room and closed my eyes and attempted to get some sleep.

Teddy nudged me "You're phone is ringing?"

I sat up at looked at it 'Darren'. I stared at it and for a moment and decided to pick it up

"Whaattt?"

"Can we talk? I mean, like, yeah.."

I looked at Teddy who fell back onto the bed and tried to sleep.

"Umm..not right now.."

"Why not?"

"Because..i'm sort of..busy..right now..well, not really but yeah.."

I heard him sigh on the other side of the line "It won't take long, like..two minutes.."

I sighed "Where are you?"

"Umm..outside your house."

"Fine. Give me like..5 minutes.."



I hung up and rubbed my eyes. "I'll be right back, Ted, Darren--wait, nevermind. Just go back to sleep.."

Teddy shrugged "Okay.."



I quickly walked towards my house, it wasn't far, it was like, two blocks away, and Darren was right, he was standing right outside my door.

He looked at me and smiled.

"Why..weren't you in your house?"

"I..was at Ted's.."

He smile fell "Oh."

I bit my lip "Okay, so what?"

He shifted around on his feet for a bit "Can we hang out?"

"When?"

"Tomorrow?"

"Nope."

"Today?"

"Nope."

"Next..Monday?"

"Nope."

He looked impatient "C'mon Haylie, give me a day when you're NOT busy!"

I shrugged "Always busy."

"That's a lie.."

"ARg! Okay, first of all...i'm engaged to Teddy, so why would I even consider going out with you?!"

He sighed and looked down at the floor.

"Second of all, you're Erin's ex, you dumped her and now she's so depressed, I'm her best friend, Darren. I wouldn't hurt her when she was with you, I'm not going to hurt her now..and finally, you're like, one of my best friends, nothing more."

He glared at me "Teddy's your best friend..he got a chance, and why don't I?!"

I sighed "Because...I'm already with him, and besides..I don't even like you...in that way.."

"C'mon Haylie, one day, even one hour and i'll be happy."

I glared at him for a long time "No." I checked the time on my phone. "I better go now.."

"Can I walk you to Ted's?"

I shook my head and thought for a moment. "Fine.."

He smiled and followed me.





I knocked on the door to Teddy's room and slowly stuck my head in. He was on his computer listening to something with earphones on.

I snuck up behind him and kissed his cheek. He turned and looked at me and blushed.

"Hey there.."

I smiled and sat down on his bed "I thought you were trying to go back to sleep?"

He shrugged and spun the chair around "I changed my mind, now..where did you go?"

"Hmm..out."

He gave me a suspicious look. I sighed and laughed "Okay, I went out to go talk to Darren.."

"About what?"

"Umm..Erin..."

"Oh, cool."

I glared at him "Not cool, Teddy, they broke up.."

"OH! Really?! Why was I not informed?!"

I shrugged "Dunno.."

He got up and grabbed his hoodie and my hand "Let's go get Erin some chocolates and flowers!"

I laughed "Alright."

Seeing Erin watching tv with us and laughing made me sort of worry. Erin was the type of person to keep everything a secret in the inside.

I rested my head on Teddy's shoulder while Erin sat there just laughing at the kids on My Super Sweet 16, eating the giant box of chocolates that we got her.

"I'm worried.." I whispered to Teddy. He nodded and wrapped his arm around me.

Watching the kids on the show get celebrities to show up at their parties made me think again.

"Ted..when do you have to go on tour again?"

"Umm..next week? or..around that time..maybe in two weeks.."

I nodded "So..we never really finished talking last night about the marriage date.."

He smiled "Feburary 14th?"

I thought about it "Isn't that like..Easter? Wait-no, Valentines day.."

He smiled again "Mmhmm..but..you want the summer, right?"

I shrugged "Up to you, I don't really mind.."

He thought about it for a while "March twenty first."

I smiled "Okay, of next year.."


He nodded "So..we have like..It's August right now..so..we have like..7 months to get everything done."

I nodded and looked over at Erin. She was still busy being occupied by the tv.

Suddenly Teddy jumped and grabbed my hand. "Uhh..Erin, we're going to go get some food..." Teddy quickly told Erin and dragged me off into the kitchen.

I looked and him, confused. "What?"

"Jason. He's back from England..I think..we should try and set them up.."

"Erin and Jason?!"

He nodded and smiled.

I shrugged "I don't know..she still really likes Darren.."

Teddy sighed and looked at me with his bright blue eyes.

"Fine." I laughed.
