Wow, I actually spent some time re-reading my fanfic on here and it's REALLY confusing, Soooo..I spaced it out, so it's much easier to read =]]







Once I saw Teddy laying there, barely breathing, I started to cry.
At that moment I felt like whatever he had between him and Stephanie didn't matter and that I really really loved him.

Darren looked at me and gave me a hug. "Everything will be fine, Hay.."

I looked up at Erin who was sitting on one of the chairs, and she was crying her eyes out, which made me even more sad.

My mom rushed in a moment after. "What happened?!"

I shrugged and bit my lip trying to stop the tears. She walked over to me and hugged me "Haylie.."
I looked over at Teddy, this was all my fault..

I woke up laying next to Erin who was leaning against the wall, she was still sleeping, but Darren wasn't.

"Hi.." he mumbled and smiled

I smiled at looked at Teddy, still motion-less. I rubbed my eyes "Have you been up all night?"

He shrugged and smiled "Uhh..sorta..I slept for like, two hours, but I couldn't sleep anymore.."

I nodded and looked around for my mom
"Oh! You're mom went to go get us some food, she'll be back soon, and then I think she's off to work.."
I slowly nodded "Thanks.."

"Thanks for what?"

"Dunno, just for being so great?" I shrugged

Suddenly someone starting knocking on the door. Darren walked over and opened it.

A tall blonde walked in holding flowers, and smiled.
Jason.

I waved to him "Hi.."

he smiled and placed the flowers next to Teddy and sat down across from us, on an empty chair.

I stood up and smoothed out my jeans "Darren, this is Jason, Teddy's friend.." I pointed to Darren "Darren, Jase. Teddy's..other friend, I guess you could say."
They smiled at each other and shook hands.

Erin stirred and slowly opened her eyes "What the heck..?" she mumbled and sat up, rubbing her eyes "Who are you?" she pointed at Jason and glared
Jason smiled "Jason. One of Teddy's best friends?"

She nodded and attempted to go back to sleep.


Another knock came from the door, Darren walked over and opened it again.

My mom walked in holding a couple of giant bags, full of junk food and Taco Bell.

I smiled and pointed to Jason "Mommy, this is Jason, one of Teddy's best friend..."
She smiled and nodded "Nice to meet you! I'm Haylie's mom.."

I sighed, woah, introducing people over and over again was hard work.


My mom left the bag next to the couch that me and Erin was sitting on.

Erin got up and starting digging through s bag. "WOAH! CHIPS!" she grabbed a large bag and sat back down and ate them.

I glared at her "That stuff is so horrible for you.." I laughed

She stuck out my tongue at me and Darren just rolled his eyes.


"Haylie, honey..I have to go now, call me if you need anything, 'kay?"

I nodded and gave my mom a hug "Thanks mom!"


Erin started digging through the bags again and this time, she found..a travel sized Monopoly. Weird.

She held it up and laughed "Monopoly, anyone?"

I smiled, silly Erin..

Darren and Erin gave me a hug just as they were about to leave "I'll call you tonight, okay?" Erin whispered

I nodded. They both smiled and left the room.

I looked over at Jason, who, surprise! was still smiling "I guess it's just you and me smileface.."

He got serious "SMILEFACE?!" I smiled, this time

He started giggling "That's an ugly nickname, shouldn't it be something cooler? Like..mr. cool? or something?"

I shrugged "Or like..mr. clean.."

He laughed "Mr. Clean..well..cleans..I smile..so shouldn't it be like..mr. smile..?"

I rolled my eyes "number one, mr. smile sounds so gross and number two, smileface is neat. So smileface. The end."

He crossed his arms and sat down on the chair again "Smileface it is.."


I sat down on the couch and took out my i-pod. Jason moved and sat down next to me

"So..how's the wedding going?"

I shook my head "I'm not getting married to Ted.."

He stared at me "What? Why?"

I shrugged "I don't really want to talk about it.."

"But..you still love him, don't you?"

I nodded "Yeah, I do, but right now, I really don't think marriage is in the near future.."

He nodded and smiled "But you guys are still like..dating, right?"

I shrugged "I don't really know...maybe..maybe not."

He nodded and stopped asking me questions about me and Teddy. I stuck the earphones in my ear and turned on my i-pod.

Five days had pasted since Teddy was involved in the accident, or, I think it was five days..

Jason pretty much stayed with me the whole time. Smiling.

Erin and Darren occasionally came, well, they came everyday, from 12:00 pm till 6:00 pm.


I stared at the picture of me and Teddy from a week ago. I missed those days, I wish that none of this ever happened.

Jason sat down next to me "How are you doing?"

I shrugged "Dunno..I'm--I'm scared, i'm scared that Teddy won't ever wake up. I'm scared that Teddy will hate me when he wakes up. I'm scared the rest of this relationship is just a huge, giant mistake."

He patted my back and laughed "You don't know..exactly HOW much Ted loves you..."

I stared at him "Well, every moment that he's still laying there, i'm scared. Just..scared.."

He smiled "Don't be scared, you're the bravest person I know, dude, you had leukemia, and you're fine! So this whole thing will become fine.."

I smiled at him "Well, i'm not so good with love."

He laughed "No one is, but Teddy loves you..A LOT, and just remember that, and i'm pretty sure if he was sitting next to you right now, he'd tell you that everything will be fine and not to be scared. I mean, I could tell you that, but you probably won't believe me.."

I nodded "Yeah, I probably wouldn't believe you.."

He looked sad and I playfully punched him "I'm kidding! Well, i'll believe you for now..you can be Teddy's replacement until he awakes."

He smiled "Cool. I'm a cool and talented musician and I can play the GUITAR!!!!"

I rolled my eyes "Teddy doesn't say that!"

He shrugged "Oh well."


Someone was at the door and started knocking. I looked at the clock, it was 11:50 in the afternoon, it was probably Erin.

Sure enough, it was, she walked in, without Darren.

I smiled at her "Hey.."

She nodded and took a seat next to Jason. She pointed at me "Hey, can I just talk to Haylie for a moment?"

Jason and I both nodded and I followed her outside.

"Haylie. Your dad's wedding is in like, a week, what are you going to do if Teddy doesn't wake up?"

I shrugged "I'll skip his wedding, it's a good excuse to stay here too, since I really don't want to see any of my step sisters.."

She nodded "But..it's your dad's wedding!"

"Well, he's not getting married to my mom, is he? Then, it's not like I care.."

"You still want your parents together, don't you?"

I nodded "Sometimes. I mean, they're good friends..but..ah, whatever.."


The door burst opened and Jason staring at us with his eyes wide "Teddy's moving!!!"

I looked at Erin while she looked at me, we both screamed and ran back inside.

DUDE! i just read the updates i havent read yet. i cried.. and then when teddy woke up i was like WOOOOOOOOO YESSSA! hahaah i need moreeee!

Next parttt. sorry took so long, school is soo stupid. And I pretty much failed like..half of my classes. Great...so that might now mean, less fanfic time =[[





I stood in the corner hugging Erin and watching the doctor examine Teddy.
"Everything seems fine, you still have some cuts, but those will heal in time.." the doctor announced and walked out of the room.

Jason rushed over and helped him up.

Teddy sat up and stared at me. I could feel my face getting hot.
I started panicking, I needed to think of something I could say that could get me out of the room "Uhh..i'm gonna go grab some..milk.." I rushed out the room.


I sat outside the door. I wanted Teddy to be awake, but I don't know how to face him..

my phone started beeping and I checked the messages "Milk? PAHAHA. Nice. - Erin"

I rolled my eyes. I covered my head with my arms.


"Hey, can I talk to you?"

I looked up and saw Stephanie. I nodded and followed her outside.

She glared at me "Haylie..."

I rolled my eyes "It's HELEN!"

She rolled her eyes this time "Haylie, you're such an idiot. I know that's your name, i'm not stupid, i'm blonde but not dumb."

I tapped my feet "Okay, do you really love him?" she finally managed to ask me

I shot her a glare "Who's "him"?"

"Teddy."

I nodded "No, I hate him.." I mumbled sarcastically "NO!..Obviously, I love him!"

"Then why the hell did you let me kiss him and do absolutely nothing at all?"

I shrugged "Well, we're not getting married, there's one thing.."

She looked guilty "I'm really sorry.."

I shrugged "Whatever.."

"Well, I really didn't like you at first because well, I don't want my mom to get married to some other guy.."

I nodded "And, well, I didn't want to share my new dad with other people.." she added and I nodded again

"And, I was..really jealous of you." and again "Why?" I mumbled.

She shrugged "Because you have someone that really cares about you. All of my ex-boyfriends are all stupid players that just date me so they can tell all their friends." I stared at her

"And you have a really..weirdly cool brother.."

I laughed "Yeah, he's special that way.."

She fiddled around "Well, I just really wanted to tell you..that I'm not really trying to break you and Teddy up or anything, that was just a huge mistake. I was jealous, probably drunk and wanted to do something so I'd get some attention."

There was a short pause in between us. I didn't know what to say for one, and she wanted to see what my reaction was.

"So..I was just really stupid and the whole thing was my fault. Teddy was being nice and showing me his bus and it was just..UG! I'm sorry! Okay?"

I shrugged "Okay.."

We stood there in silence again.

"Look, I have to go. I just had to come and explain the whole thing to you. Just..forgive Teddy, okay?"

I nodded "Umm..thanks..?"

She smiled "Okay, I'll see you at the wedding?"

I shrugged "Maybe."



I slowly walked back inside, I still thought about what I was going to say to Teddy..

I walked in and saw them playing a game of cards. Teddy was smiling, which pretty much made my heart skip a couple beats.

He looked at me and I could feel myself blushing again.

I saw Jason wink at Erin and they slowly left the room.

I laughed and sat down on Teddy's bed.

"How are you doing?"

He smiled "Fine..I think?"

I smiled "Good."

He reached for my hand "I missed you so much.."

I nodded "I did and still do too.."

He looked at my hand and traced his finger around mine where the ring used to be "So..you're still mad at me?"

I shrugged "I don't know.."

He looked at the floor "I'm really, really, really sorr--"

Without thinking, I kissed Teddy.

I pulled away and blushed "Sorry.."

He shook his head and kissed me back.

The insides of me started getting all giggley. Weird.

For the first time in like, a week, I was actually able to sleep in my own bed.

It was 2:13 am, and I still couldn't get to sleep. Too much was running through my mind.

Teddy. My dad's wedding. What Stephanie said to me. Marriage.

MY RING! It was probably still outside somewhere. Without thinking I got off my bed and went outside.


Searching for a ring in your backyard is actually harder than you think. Darn my mom for not getting my brother to cut the grass in such a long time.

It's almost like finding a needle in a haystack, except the ring couldn't poke you to death and was worth more.

I ran around in a circle and flashed my flashlight in every possible direction. I saw something glimmer, I turned the flashlight towards it and shined it there again. Bingo, my ring was right there all along.

I placed it on my finger and skipped back into the house.






Oh, and where'd everyone go?! LOL
