ok, so I suck.
it's alright..I admit it. I've been a terrible person making you ladies wait all the time.
A lot has happened the last month including me moving back home from NY last weekend since I'm time of being a nanny is up.
I also went to Teddy's concert on Monday (the 16th) and it was basically AMAZING! It was so awesome to see him in concert again! I took a good friend of mine, who hadn't really heard much of Teddy's music and now she's a crazed Tedhead! phahaha!
Anywho..I've been really changing the last few chapters which is really screwing up the ending I already had typed up. and now I'm trying to figure out a way it's all going to work..but here is a small teeny weeny update that y'all might enjoy and to tide you over until I get this story together! lol
Here you go:~*~*~*~*~*~
Chapter 15That night, Roxy couldn’t get much sleep. She lay awake, replaying the words of Teddy’s song in her head. The first verse; “you seem so afraid, afraid you’ll regret, regret getting closer and connected to me.” Was she afraid? Was she afraid that letting herself open up even more to Teddy, could cause her to fall even harder for him? She had never let herself feel this way about anyone before, but with Teddy, she couldn’t help it. It’s as if she had no control over her emotions when it came to him, and she hated that feeling.
When she was in deep thought, Roxy heard a little tap at her window. She looked in that direction, and ignored it until she heard it again. And then again. She slowly crept out of bed as she glanced at her clock which glowed 1:37 am back at her. She reached the window, sitting on the bench, and peered out to see who was down there.
Teddy.
Knowing she couldn’t ignore him, since he had seen her, she opened the window as her stomach filled with butterflies. What did he want to talk about? What was she going to say to him? She had no idea, so she started with the obvious question.
“Teddy, what are you doing here?” The air was cold and she could see her breath as she spoke.
“Can you come down?” He whispered back up, trying not to disturb anyone in the house.
After hesitating a moment, Roxy closed her window and wrapped a blanket around herself before headed downstairs to meet Teddy. She wasn’t sure what she was doing, but knew she couldn’t run forever. She took one last breathe of air and opened the front door. She found him sitting on the porch swing, and ended up sitting next to him.
“What’s going on Teddy?”
“I heard you were at my concert tonight.” He said calmly.
Roxy looked up to the sky, letting out a sigh. “I was there for a moment.”
“What did you think?”
Roxy looked at Teddy again. “Is this really what you came here to talk about? To receive comments on your performance?”
“Well, just on the one particular song I know you heard.”
Roxy fiddled with her hands. Good old Emma had told him.
Teddy decided to finally get straight to the point. “Rox, I don’t know about you, but I can’t pretend that you mean nothing to me. I hate how things turned out between us, and I can’t stand to not be around you.”
“Teddy don’t.” Roxy stood up, and leaned against the rail.
“Don’t what?” Teddy’s eyes followed her.
“Don’t mess with my head. I’m dating Austin and I really care about him.”
“Do you love him?” Teddy asked.
His question caught her off guard, and she jerked her head up to face him. “I don’t think that’s any of your business.”
“Ok, then let me ask you another question,” Teddy paused and took a breath. “Do you love me?” The boy certainly knew how to put shock into someone. What was she supposed to say? If she said yes, then the conversation would take a turn that she wasn’t ready to deal with. But if she said no she could lose him and she didn’t want to think of that either.
When she hadn’t answered minutes later, Teddy spoke again, hope fading from his eyes. “It’s not that difficult of a question, Roxy. It’s a yes or a no.”
“I don’t know.” Roxy's answer made Teddy hang his head.
“Dammit, Bubbles, what do you want? I know you felt something when I kissed you or you wouldn’t have freaked like you did.”
Teddy’s painful expression was one of discouragement and annoyance.
Roxy knew she loved Teddy, but she was also angry with him. He thought he could just walk in and expect her to drop her relationship with Austin to be with him? “Teddy, you aren’t being fair to me. You only want something more with me when it’s convenient for you. I backed off after the kiss because no girl deserves her boyfriend cheating on her. I gave you space to have a relationship with Claire, why aren’t you doing the same for me?”
Teddy stood up, his arms in the air. “Because if you haven’t noticed, I’m in love with you!” He shouted before he took off down her porch steps.

Roxy came downstairs the next morning with puffy eyes and a migraine the size of Texas. She had been up late contemplating on what to do. So many times she wanted to run over to Teddy’s house and tell him that she was in love with him too, but her pride stopped her every time. In the end, she just cried herself to sleep.
She sat at the kitchen table and put her head in her hands. “You look like hell.” Her dad stated when he saw the state his oldest daughter was in, and she heard her mom smack him in the stomach.
“I had a long night and I don’t want to talk about it. Can someone please get me some Tylenol? I have a killer headache.”
“Sure sweetie.” Roxy’s mom placed two pills in front of her along with a tall glass of water. Her mother looked over at her father and sighed, not wanting to be the one to put salt in the wound. “Rox, your dad and I actually have something to tell you.” Roxy looked up at her parents, recognizing that sentence.
