I hear a lot about people from `myspace surfing` and on message boards people mention ___ so I go check them out. Word of mouth is a great thing.

word of mouth is definitly great, plus when bands send you friend requests on myspace make sure you listen to them before you hit accept or deny, and pay attention to bulletins about bands/singers from friends... myspace is one of the best sites to promote music, just keep your ears and eyes open.

I agree. I've found artists like, "The Secret Handshake," from Myspace.

ahaha actually no... I had my myspace for about 7 months before ANY of my friends EVER got one, so needless to say, I didn't have very many comments and I didn't really request or get requested for friends b'cuz I never did anything. But then I kind of got into it like march & i wouldn't tell anybody i had one b'cuz nobody else did so i thought i'd be a loser, but around june? a lot of my friends got them and then i was on there even more than before. but myspace is DEFINITELY addicting and this is my 100th post lmao.
