ladeda, this is just a blah chapter =D next one will probably be better but uh..yeah!
Jason took a seat next to me on the tour bus.
"Can you believe they actually have STARBUCKS here?!" I laughed
He smiled. "Yep, that's pretty cool."
He took out a package of gum from his pockets "Gum?"
I shook my head.
"So..I was just wondering..." he paused for a moment, I looked at him and nodded, waiting for him to continue "Do you have a boyfriend, by any chance?"
The question sort of shocked me, I nodded "Yeah, I do, back in New York.."
He nodded and smiled "What's his name?"
"Teddy.."
"Teddy?!"
I nodded and paused "Wait- do you know him? Teddy Geiger.."
He shrugged "Dunno.."
I shrugged back and he smiled at me.
I lay back down on the seat and closed my eyes.
"So..do you really like Teddy?"
I nodded, keeping my eyes closed.
I heard him chuckle and that was the end of our conversation for the rest of the hour.

We got off the bus and Jason grabbed my wrists and pulled me aside.
"So, were are you going after this?" Jason zipped up his hoodie and stared at me
I looked and him and thought for a moment "Umm..Paris..I think."
His eyes opened wide "Seriously?!"
I nodded
"I'M GOING THERE TOO! Let's go together!"
I laughed "Sure..you're leaving tomorrow, right?"
He nodded "This is going to be fun! But my sister's not coming along, so yeah.."
Now it was my turn to look surprised "Really?! My mom's not coming with me to Paris!"
We looked at each other with our eyes wide and laughed. After a moment, we decided to join the rest of the group, taking pictures and such.

My mom combed my hair out of my face "You'd better be careful. Call me anytime. I'll probably be home. Stay with Jason." my mom started rambling.
I laughed "Yesss...I'll probably arrive before you will, so you can call my cell, okay?"
She nodded and gave me a hug "Be..very very careful."
I smiled and grabbed my bags and followed Jason into the terminal.
"BYE MOM!" I laughed and waved back.
Jason smiled again. "So, your mom is worried?"
I shook my head "Well, sort of..not really..uhh..yeah."
He smiled again. What was with this kid and smiling?!

"Where's Teddy?" I asked Erin, I called her right after I checked into the hotel with Jason after arriving in the city of lights.
"Uhh.." I heard her mumbled something
"Pardon?"
"Umm..nothing, he's out..playing..a show?" I heard confusion in her voice.
"So he's busy and not here then, right?"
"Uhh..yeah. I have to go now, talk to you later." just like that, Erin hung up on me.
I looked at the phone and placed it away. The heck?
Then came a knock on the door. I slowly walked towards it and looked through the little hole. Jason, smiling.
I opened the door and poked my head through.
He had a bunch of things in his hand "So..my shower is sort of messed up, can I use yours?"
I stared at him. He was still smiling.
"Su-sure..?" I let him into my room.
He went into the washroom as I turned on the tv.

"Thanks a ton, Haylie.." Jason laughed and he walked out of my washroom.
I smiled and turned my attention back towards the tv.
"I'll see you tomorrow..." he mumbled and walked out.

There was a loud knock on the door the next morning. I got up and immediately felt tired and sleepy. I walked towards the door and surprise, Jason.
I looked at him and he suddenly became blurry.

The light peeked through my eyes and I tried to lift myself up, I slowly got up and saw Jason sitting on the couch watching some weird french show.
He turned around at me and smiled "Hey there."
I nodded "Hi..what just happened?"
"You sort of just fainted, so yeah, pretty much." he shrugged
I nodded and stared at him. My eyes felt so heavy and wanted to close.
"You have leukemia?"
I stared at him and after a moment, I nodded.
He nodded and smiled "I see, my mom used to have leukemia, but she died when I was twelve."
I stared at him with my eyes opened "I'm so sorry.."
He nodded and sat down beside me "Don't be. It's alright, and you'll be fine too."
