Okayyyy..aw I feel so bad I couldn't update yesterday..but uh..I stayed up a bit and finished it off. It's pretty short, but it's better than nothing, and hopefully, the next chapter will be...much more...intresting. LOL =]]



Chapter 7?



"MOM! I'll be fineeee!" I gave my mom a quick hug
She glared at me for a moment "Six days.."
I nodded "Yes! You're going to be gone for six days, I got it!"
"Now don't--"
"Don't throw a giant party and invite the entire school, don't let Matt bring more than 5 of his friends over for a sleepover, try to avoid ordering pizza because the pizza man might be a serial killer, Call Dad every morning to let him know we're okay, I'VE GOT IT, MOM!"
She laughed and hugged me again "Oh and--"
"Try to stay with a friend at home at all times. Got it.." I laughed. My mom always went on a ton on business trips so I knew the whole routine by heart.
My mom walked over to Teddy and whispered something to him "Watch over her, okay, Ted?"
He nodded and shook her hand.
And off she went to Mexico.

Teddy grabbed my hand "So..who's that..'friend' of yours that you're going to stay with at all times?" Teddy laughed and squeezed my hand.
I pretended to look around "Hmm..." I pointed to a guy walking with his girlfriend or something a couple steps away "That guy."
He looked at the guy and then looked at me "You know him?"
I shrugged "Oh yeah, ever since like..Pre-school..or something..you know..that guy..."
Teddy looked at me, all confused and looking back and forth.
"YOU DON'T REMEMBER HIM?!" I tried not to smile and bit my lip
He shook his head "What's his name?"
I couldn't resist, and smiled "Uhh...Greg..?"
Teddy shook his head..and then stared at me "Wait.....we DON'T EVEN KNOW HIM!"
I started giggling. "Maybe we do?"
Teddy shook his head and hugged me
"But do you really want to know who that 'friend' is?" I mumbled in his ear
He shook his head
"John Theodore Geiger the second.." I giggled and ran off towards the food court at the mall leaving Teddy standing there
"Whaaattt?! I thought it was going to be me.....WAIT. IT ISSSS!!!! HAYYYYLLLLIIIIEEEE!" he called and ran after me.

Max handed me a card of some sort as I grabbed my textbooks out from my locker, I eyed him suspiciously and opened the card

'Haylie.

You're invited to Max's 18th birthday party.
Details to come, and speaking of 'coming'..

I laughed and stuffed the card into my backpack "Nice, well, I guess..I'll go.."
He smiled and gave me a hug
"IF I'm not busy!" I laughed, he smiled and ran off to some other people.

Erin hugged me from behind "SURPRISE!"
I laughed "Have a invite from Max?"
She nodded and pulled hers out from her hoodie pocket and showed me.
The bell rang just as I closed me locker, I linked arms with Erin and we skipped towards Spanish class.

"Why won't your mom let your order pizza?" Erin laughed and she took a bite of her pizza
"Because mom thinks that all pizza ..men..people.. are serial killers or something.." Matt answered for me
"Yeah, she watches too much like..CSI or something. But we'd better burn the pizza box or something..yeah, so she'll never know!" I laughed evily
Matt and his friend grabbed another pizza.
"Do you know what we should do now?" Teddy asked
Erin, Darren and I stared at him for a moment
"CHECKERS!"
We looked at each other and then at Teddy "No."
Teddy laughed "Kidding! Let's play GRAND THEFT AUTO!"
My brother dropped his pizza on the plate and ran into the living room "KILLING PEOPLE AND STEALING CARS, YAY!"
Teddy and Darren ran after him while me and Erin shrugged and looked at Tyler, Matt's friend who still had a mouthful of pizza and looked around, confused.


"Jump him!" Teddy yelled at Matt. Who's person in the game was stabbing someone while trying to steal his bike.
Matt did as he was told and it worked. Teddy giggled while resting his head on my lap, he looked up and me and pointed to Erin and Darren.
They were playing an intense game of 'Guess Who', and Erin looked like she was about to bite Darren's head off because he was obviously winning.

Teddy sat back up and hugged me.
At the corner of my eye I saw Tyler punch Matt "Why can't we be like that?" He punched Matt playfully.
"Dude, I like GIRLS!" he laughed.

Teddy hugged me one more time "I'll be back in like..three days, tops."
I laughed "I knoww!"
He blushed "I'm going to miss you.."
I felt my cheeks getting hot "Aw..I'm going to miss you too! Actually I already do but well, yeah, so I miss you right now, but you're not even gone yet. So I guess I'll miss you--"
Teddy pulled me in towards him and kissed me.
I felt my face get hot. "Uhh...I should let you go now.."
"I'll call you when I have some time.."
"You don't..really...have to..I mean, because you're busy and all..." I secretly hoped that he would call me
He smiled and kissed me on the forehead "I love you.."
"I love you more.." I smiled, and he walked towards the check-in place, turning every three steps and smiling.


I slowly walked back to my mom's car
"So..when is Teddy getting back?"
I buckled my seatbelt "Umm..in three days? He'll make it back in time for Max's party...I hope.."

Three days isn't so bad..right?
