THERE WERE CUTE BOYS THERE.
But anyways.
I have... AN UPDATE! WHOOOOOOAAA SHOCKER. :]
Teddy
I looked around the room that was decorated in a very festive Mexican theme as Shelly started playing nonchalantly with her long hair. The bell for class to start had rang around several minutes ago and she was getting anxious watching the blonde from choir, Kali, staring at me from the other side of the room. I wasn’t going to lie; Shelly was kind of cute when she was worried. I watched her chew on her lower lip and watched as she started tapping pencils. I watched Kali get up and felt my body tense a little, I had never really been the smoothest with the ladies, and after this huge fame thing I had been hit on by a ton of girls that I really had no interest in. I started scribbling a little bit in the agenda I had received earlier and heard Shelly clear her throat lightly.
“Me encanta comer chaquetas,” Kali purred. I heard Shelly snort a little and the rest of the class sat there with confused looks on their faces. Clearly Shelly was the only one that really knew what was going on.
“Well Kali, who would’ve guessed that you eat anything? Although I am surprised to hear that you love eating jackets… I’m glad you don’t have a key to get into the lockers, otherwise I’m going to be chilly when I head back to my car.” I watched as Shelly gave the same eye-roll, then her bright green eyes flashed to my face for a moment before looking back at Kali; ready for war.
“Ha. You’re so clever Shelly, it’s such a shame we don’t hang out more often. I think this weekend we should go shopping together. You know, for old time’s sake,” she gushed. I felt her hand gently rest on my shoulder, as if I were an arm rest. She just proceeded to smile at me with over-bleached teeth and began to rub my shoulder. I simply froze; not quite sure what to do. I didn’t want to offend her or anything, but she was really creeping me out. I’m not into the fake type of girls.
“Wow. That is just… wow… I really think that you should stop touching the boy though, Kali. He looks like really freaked out by you, and I can totally understand. I mean, there’s the extensions, the color-changing contacts, the nails, and of course the water bra. You’re just a very scary person,” she stated. She had stood up by now and her hands were on her hips and she was leaning forward a little bit with a ‘bring it on’ look on her face.
Today just keeps getting more interesting.
Kali’s arm slid off of my shoulder and was hanging limply at her side; her mouth was wide open, as if she were trying to catch flies.
“Shelly, was that really necessary?” a woman asked from the doorway. Shelly just kind of sat back down with a pissed off look on her face, I could already tell that she didn’t like this teacher even though she was good at Spanish… which was slightly strange.
“I’m going to assume that’s a rhetorical question and I’m just not going to talk for the rest of class, alright? I don’t feel like getting in more trouble, she’s not worth it. That’s how much I really don’t care right now,” she stated boldly. Kali walked back to her spot slowly and the teacher proceeded to move to the front of the room.
The class seemed to be dragging on and on for hours. The class was mostly silent, it seemed as if the Spanish being spoken was too much. Only one person really knew what was going on, but of course Shelly decided to remain mostly silent during class.
When the bell rang most of the kids got up quickly in a rush to get out of hell. There was one last class of the day, and then we had homeroom. I’ve never seen a school quite this… interesting. Everything was pretty much flipped from what I thought. You only take classes for what you’re talented in, so that pretty much gets rid of the excuse of “I’m Stupid!” as to why your grades suck.
Shelly suddenly seemed eager as she got up and grabbed my hand. “Okay, so next we have class with Dake, who is pretty much the most amazing teacher ever. She teaches creative writing as well as a few other Photography and Journalism courses. I absolutely LOVE her; she’s the most fantastic person ever. Well, as far as teacher’s go,” she said quietly. She kept her hand clamped onto my arm as we rushed through the sea of people to get to class. A few of the girls that Shelly had introduced to me as “shallow” and “snobbish” kept on looking at her hand on me. It somehow made it so that they didn’t want to talk to me anymore; I had been claimed by Shelly, who made it extremely clear before, you really don’t want to cross her.
We walked into the room and Shelly just ran up to the teacher’s desk located in the back of the classroom. All I could really see was a mess of curls from the teacher’s head, as Shelly decided to block the rest of my view.
“So, the rumors really are true. You are escorting Teddy Geiger through the halls today. I seriously thought that Danielle and Megan were trying to pull some cruel joke… but apparently not. Who would’ve guessed that the administrative board liked you this much? You’ve been causing havoc since freshmen year,” the woman stated. I was guessing that was Dake, either that or a weird substitute teacher that was practically stalking Shelly.
“Teddy, meet the incredibly lovely and lovable Ms. Dake,” she gushed. I could tell she wasn’t just being polite either. This was probably the one teacher that Shelly had any ounce of respect for.
“I see that your hair has grown out from the previous bowl cut,” she retorted. I nodded slowly, feeling extremely exposed. A woman in her thirties knew about my hair cut?
“Um… We’ll be in the computer lab!” Shelly exclaimed quickly, she took my hand and shoved me into a room that was inside of the classroom. I watched her attentively as she tried to bring up Facebook but was being blocked by the school’s website. She quickly typed in a bypass and logged into Facebook quickly.
“My phone has been vibrating non-stop with notifications from here. It’s kind of annoying, but what can I do?” she asked. It was obviously a rhetorical question, but that wasn’t going to stop me.
“Um… shut off Facebook Mobile?” I asked, and I could practically feel her roll her eyes.
“You didn’t need to answer, but whatever. The bell’s about to ring soon, so let’s GO,” she just left the page up and walked out of the room. Before I moved I noticed the picture she had as her default. It was her and another boy, which from the looks of it was her boyfriend. He had his arms wrapped around her and was kissing her cheek, while her eyes were shining brightly and a huge smile was plastered on her face.
I couldn’t ignore the tinge of jealousy I felt as I entered the classroom.

And we see... is it? could it be? The slight blob that could possibly be the plotline?
Maybe not. But... maybe so?
Or maybe I'm not making any sense.
